Welcome to Las Buganvillas, this spacious split level apartment has more a feel of a villa, with 15' high ceilings and panoramic windows it boasts stunning views from every window. The apartment has its own private entrance with private garden areas (perfect for watching those little ones play or for family alfresco dining) offering sun and shade at different times of the day. From the balcony of the 2nd lounge you can sunbathe in total privacy. Set in a secure exclusive development and surrounded by a Unesco protected area, cork trees and golf coures which all go to make up this natural haven of La Mairena.

Withing walking distance you will find the'Kudu bar' with its friendly casual eating and drinking atmosphere.

A doorstep away from the bar you can fine dine at the French restaurant or for something more Spanish why not pop into the El Soto clubhouse (open to non members the Chef is excellent) .If you love Tennis, then within walking distance you have the world renowned 'Hoffsass Tennis Club' with its hard courts and rooftop pool, with stunning views down to the coast.(Its worth climbing the stairs to sit on the open terrace and view all the memorobilia of all the famous players who once trained there).

Further down the hillside within 10 mins drive you have shops, banks, supermarkets, restaurantsand wine bars. The world famous Nikki Beach Club and Don Carlos Beach Club are located with 2 mins drive. These blue flag beaches are known to be the best on the Costa del Sol. For safe bathing with small children, within 10 mins. drive from the shopping area you have a small port of Cabopino with its perfect sand duned beaches and shallow water.

Stunning split level apartment nestled in the hills above Marbella. Ideal retreat after a busy day on the coast (10 mins.drive inland) The apartment is airy and very spacious with amazing views to the Ojen mountains from the balcony and pool areas. There are 3 separate private garden areas to the apartment which allows you to choose between sun and shade at various time of the day.

Perfect for discerning families, couples, golfers, walkers and nature lovers. There are 2 lounge areas,balcony and private gardens and so is perfect for children or ideal if holidaying with friends as there is enough room for privacy at times when you need a bit of space.

The huge kitchen is open plan and suitable for breakfasting/social eating it has a larder and American style fridge, perfect for those big shops and has direct access to the garden area.

The Costa del Sol region

Visitors to the Costa Del Sol can expect average temps of 18 degrees, with over 300 sunshine days a year its easy to understand why its one of Europes top holiday destinations.

Often referred to as the Costa Del Golf (70 ) courses can be played all year round. It offers a whole range of other actviities such as sailing, scuba diving, horseriding, dolphin safaris etc. the list is endless.

Away from the coast there are numerous excursions into the real Spain with cities stepped in history in days when the Moors ruled this part of Spain. Ronda, Seville, Cordoba and Granada are all within easy driving distance and many tour companies offer guided coach tours. For those of you feeling more adventurous then why not take the 15km trip across the Straits of Gibraltar and visit Morroco. You can pick up some great bargains around the bazar/medina if you are prepared to haggle!

Malaga is the stepping stone to the Costa Del Sol you will pass it on the way to your resort from the airport, however for those of you who love to explore you won't be disapointed with this gem of a city, why not pop on to the open tour bus which will take you around the old quarter, Roman threatre and Moorish Place. For art lovers the Picasso museum is a must.

Marbella

Elviria and Marbella enjoy a micro-climate and probably has THE BEST CLIMATE in Europe. Because it is located between the Sierra Blanca mountains and the Mediterranean, it is shielded from the colder weather in the winter and has the cooling benefits of the proximity of the sea in the Summer.

The internationally renowed and sophisticated town of Marbella, hosts a wonderful array of shops, fantastic restaurants, bars and night life and beautiful paseos. Marbella is still very much a place to savour and enjoy.

Within the cosmopolitian mix of the area you will find Marbella old town(Plaza De Naranjos, Orange Square is at its centre) with numerous narrow whitewashed street feeding off in different directions will give you a chance to wander, shop and explore. At lunch time why not pop into one of the 'tapas bars' situated in the old town for an authentic spanish delicacy. For those of you who love the glamour and glitz why not drive along the coast to Puerto Banus and enjoy the atmosphere, along with the customary celebrity watching.

Elviria on the other hand has a more relaxed pace with superb beaches/restaurants, banks, supermarket etc. A drive inland 10 mins from the shopping area with take you into La Mairena (known locally as the Beverley Hills of Marbella)

La Mairena provides a convenient haven at the end of the day where you can retreat from the hustle and bustle of the coast.

"Wonderful wonderful experience from beginning to end"

I stayed with my family (husband, and our 5 +16 year old) at the apartment for 10 days and I wished it could have been for much longer! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we had a wonderful time. When you look at pictures on this site there is a possibility that the apartment will never live up to the images you see, but this was not the case here, the apt was as described and featured and in fact it was better! The staff who helped us with our arrival were great, the apt was spotless and it suited all our needs which is tough to do with such a difference in ages. It has a great pool which was quiet, beautiful views from the balcony and lovely to sit out for breakfast and an evening glass of wine or a little siesta! Perfect weather every day, and a great location for getting out and about and seeing other things. The area is great for either relaxing or going to waterparks etc. The beaches are all within reach and are beautiful. We have been to a few places and its interesting, my now 7 year old always asks if we can go back there as it was her favourite holiday! Its been hard to beat in the past couple of years, so much so that we are planning a trip back this year. The 7 yr old IS going to be very very happy, as are we. Can't wait!

"Stunning Apartment"

A beautiful, luxurious residential apartment situated in the hills above the Don Carlos that we were lucky enough to rent for our family holiday. Superbly furnished with large a garden & a couple of sun terraces. Well equiped & good standard Wifi/Internet connection. Great Pool on site (communal) & adequate secure parking 2 minutes from front door. Couple of really decent Bar/Restaurants close by & Elviria centre is less than 10 minutes by car. Great for couples looking to get away from the maddening crowds or families looking for a peaceful break in private surroundings.. Owners were great to deal with, we will definitely be back!
