The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
At least 300 days sunshine a year with average temperatures in Winter at 65-70 degrees and 75-100 degrees in summer. Skiing in the Sierra Nevada is within 2 hour drive and it is possible to ski in the morning and sunbathe on the beach in the afternoon. Golf courses abound everywhere - there must be atleast 20 to choose from within 20 minute drive. Gibraltar can be reached by car within 45 - 60 minutes but there is also a local tour bus. Tangier is just a short trip by boat from nearby Gibraltar. Surfing facilities are within 60 minute drive to the west coast and start at Tarifa. Malaga is an historic town with cathedral, theatres and quaint old town with plenty of tapas bars - Malaga is just 30 mins by car from Elviria.
Marbella area
Marbella centre is just 4 miles away with wonderful picturesque old town with winding streets containing fashionable boutiques, restaurants etc. It has a large promenade adjacent to a long and wide sandy beach.
Elviria (10 min drive from Marbella) has a long sandy beach and is well served by 15 restaurants, banks, supermarkets etc all withion 5-10 mins. Nearby Crazy Beach for children. 5 golf courses within 10 minute drive and many more within 20 minute drive plus bowls and tennis.
For children there is a Crazy Beach with go karts etc and zoos and water parks at Fuengirola and Torremolinos.
Tangier can be reached within half hour from near Gibraltar and surfing resort close to Gibraltar.
Large hospital open for emergencies within 10 mins drive.
How to get there
Flights with EazyJet, British Airways, Iberia, FlyBe and many others into Malaga.
We are situated 30 minute drive from Malaga Airport.
It is recommended that you hire a car at the airport (we can supply details) but if that is unacceptable we can arrange to meet you and return you to the airport at the end of your stay for £50 return.

Further details indoors: Barbecue area One bedroom can be changed to a study if necessary. Tiled floor throughout with occasional rugs. Sea views from most rooms in the main house. Good sized bedrooms and bathrooms Cots etc can be rented locally for babies and small children - notice required. Cleaner can be provided at additional cost. Owners live locally and whilst they would not intrude, they are available if you encounter a problem.
Further details outdoors: Wonderful South sea facing views from the rear. Heated outdoor pool with large sunbathing area making it enticing for the winter months. Private quiet road a few hundred yards from Elviria centre and 4 miles from Marbella centre. 5 golf clubs within 10 mins by car - about 20 more within 20 mins by car. Wonderful markets for bargain hunters practically every day at locations within 15 min drive. Two ports nearby for gazing at luxury yachts and beautiful people while you dine in a lovely restaurant. 15 restaurants in Elviria - beach, ethnic, spanish, english, italian.
Further details
The owners are willing to adapt the accommodation to suit individual requirements. Children's cots/highchairs etc can be hired locally and installed before the occupants arrive. The owners are willing to collect and deliver to and from the airport at a charge of £25 per car each way. ADSL/Broadband is connected.
Conditions
Payment can be made in sterling or euros.
No bookings accepted for less than 4 days and long term lets and corporate bookings will be considered. A Bond of £100 will be held against any damage or breakages. A well behaved dog is acceptable but any damage must be paid for out of the Bond.
A deposit of 25% must be paid at least 6 weeks before your holiday and is non refundable for cancellations with 4 weeks of the booking.

25% on confirmation of booking and balance within 2 weeks of arrival.
No additional costs but if extras are required, such as cleaners, baby cots, extra beds etc the tenant will be charged at cost.
Guestbook
We have had a lady staying long term who has been absolutely delighted with the villa and its situation and has reluctantly left in June and returning to her home country due to ill health.
9 twenty something boys and girls recently stayed and have written 'thank you, we have just spent an amazing week in your wonderful house".
At present we have a young family staying who say they are in paradise.
