La Quinta International Golf Academy Run by 1985 Ryder Cup Champion Manuel Piñero, the La Quinta Golf Academy has been teaching the mastery and techniques of golf for over 15 years. Lessons are suited to all levels of play, for groups as well as individuals.
The game of golf, with its intricate and demanding subtleties, requires a strong foundation in technique. The La Quinta Golf Academy offers a comprehensive program that adapts itself to the individual player's skill level and rate of learning – making it the perfect place for players to develop both their abilities and love of the game. An experienced staff of instructors, supervised by world champion Manuel Piñero, are delighted to customize their approach to each of their students.
The La Quinta Golf Academy offers five-day and weekend courses, alongside an extensive schedule of private lessons during the week. Throughout the entire year, we offer instruction for beginners without an official handicap and for players with a handicap.
We are also delighted to design appropriate lesson plans for children, seniors, families, or groups of friends. Likewise, we will customize our instruction to address a particular technique - slice, draw, hook, push, pull or fade - or improve a specific area in your game. Just let us know what you wish to accomplish, and we'll make it happen. Course B: Ronda Named after a local favourite – the beautiful nearby village of Ronda – the Ronda course acts as a natural and challenging extension of the San Pedro (Course A). Ronda loves to test the precision of your game with its sloping fairways and fast greens.
The Ronda (Course B) creates the perfect complement to the skillful twists and turns of the San Pedro (Course A). Measuring a total length of 2712 meters (2972 yards), Ronda features one par 5, six par 4 and two par 3 holes. Undeniably the greatest hurdle of the course, hole number 6 is par 5 and handicap 1. The Ronda continuously engages the player's skill with its unpredictable sloping fairways, fast greens and ingeniously positioned “blind” tee-offs with occasional dog legs.

Course A: San Pedro The original of three renowned nine-hole courses designed by 1985 Ryder Cup winner Manuel Piñero, the San Pedro is surrounded by the fabulous La Quinta villas and sparkling views of the golden Mediterranean Coastline.
The original course at La Quinta Golf, San Pedro lays the foundation for the resort's three thrilling 18-hole game combinations. Stretching out to a total length of 2884 meters (3153 yards), San Pedro features two par 5, four par 4 and three par 3 holes. The par 5 holes challenge your driving skills with their extensive 450 meter (492 yards) length. Considered the most difficult link, number 5 tests the skill of experienced golfers as a long par 4 with a tricky tee-off on a narrow fairway, flanked by pine trees and an off-limits area along the right.

From Malaga International Airport
Exit the airport terminal. Turn right and follow signs to Cadiz / Torremolinos (beer factory on right hand). Continue for approximately 3km (1.8 mi). Follow a blue panel that says E15-AP7-A7 Benalmádena (car dealer on right hand). Continue on the same road for approx. 15km (9.3 mi). Follow a blue panel that says E15-AP7 Marbella /Algeciras (Toll Highway). Continue on the highway following signs to Estepona/Algeciras. Take highway exit 172 – Ronda. Approx. 500 m (0.3 mi) from toll station turn left in the roundabout. Follow the signs to “La Quinta”. The resort is located within La Quinta urbanization, right next to the club house.

Further details indoors: With spectacular views over the golf courses, over the coast and on a clear day, out to the Attlas Mountains in Africa, to the left the Sierra Blanca mountain range that gives Marbella it unique micro climate. The apartment was built in April 07 and is luxuriously furnished to a 5 star quality standard with marble flooring throughout. It is all run with an "intelligent home management system” air-conditioned through out, under floor heating. The king size bed is dressed with 100% cotton sheets and silk throw. The kitchen is modern and friendly, fitted with every appliance. The bathrooms have been fitted with the best marble and furniture, power shower and bubble bath. There are 60sq meters of private sunroof terrace with beds and showers, and a terrace from the lounge with those spectacular views.
Further details outdoors: On your terrace is where most people spend there time. when you are here you can see why. with spectacula views good weather, you can Breakfast, lunch then bbq on your terrace, there is underground parking with a direct lift to your apartment. the pool area is quiet and beautiful.

We offer a number of other services to make your stay more enjoyable: Pick up and drop off service from the airport, Jet Skis for the day, dropped of at your beach and picked up later. You do need a jet ski licence. Sports boat for groups of 4-6 people, go skiing, knee boarding, see the dolphins or just sight seeing. Motor cruiser for up to 12 people. See how the others live!!!

To secure a booking a non-refundable deposit of 25% of total payment is required in advance, with the balance paid 6 weeks prior to your arrival. * Please note that the apartment must be vacated by 11:00 on day of departure. * It is recommended that you take out adequate travel insurance. * We would also require a deposit in the sum of £200 to be held in case of any accidental damage sustained which will be repaid following satisfactory key fob return and apartment inspection. This will be repaid within 14 days. NOTE: We will NOT keep your deposit if you break a glass or anything minor. In this event we would appreciate that you inform us of this so we can arrange replacement.
