The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa Del Sol is famous for its micro climate and year round sunshine, so if you are searching for some winter sun this is definitely the place to go.. 50 golf courses in close proximity makes the area a haven for golfers and their families. There are miles of golden sandy beaches to choose from in addition to the quaint villages on hilltops as you move inland.The apartment is situated adjacent to one of the regions best golf courses and the closest beach is just a short walk with cafes and restaurants en route.It is an ideal location for young families with children to entertain or teenagers looking for the nightlife availabe in Marbella.

There is a commercial centre just 5 minutes walk away with many restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets and banks. The beautiful sandy beach is a short walk with the famous Nikki Beach alongside. The white villages of Mijas & Ronda are have breathtaking views of the coast and still celebrate traditional customs eg. travel by donkey! Markets are held along the coast throghout the week Marbella is only minutes away with its unique blend of modern and traditional. The quaint cobbled streets of the old town sits happily with the lively, cosmopolitan beach front and night life. You can spend time discovering the designer shops or take a tour in a horse drawn carriage. Alternatively you can relax at one of the many beachfront cafes or go to Puerto Banus and sppot the rich & famous relaxing on their enormous boats.The area boasts many restaurants with suprisingly reasonable tariffs.Marbella is certainly one of the most splendid towns in the Mediterranean region and one of the most popular on the Costa Del Sol. How to get there
Most airlines fly into Malaga including the budget variety - Easyjet, bmibaby etc. and they offer an excellent service. Fly to Malaga airport and either take a taxi (approx 50 euros) or drive(car hire on airport) taking the N340/A7 to Cadiz / Algerciras. Take the exit marked Elviria and follow the signs to Santa Maria Golf Course which is approx. 500m from the turnoff. Follow the signs to Los Jardines. The apartment has easy access to the main coast road which will take you into the centre of Marbella ,and to Puerto Banus to the East or Fuengirola and Benalmedena.
All major & budget airlines fly in to Malaga.

Further details outdoors: The apartment is in an excellent location adjacent to one of the most renowned golf clubs on the Costa Del Sol.The clubhouse is a beautiful nineteenth century Spanish Finca( see photo) with all modern facilities including bars restaurants( extremely reasonable prices), tennis courts and a gymnasium( small extra charge). There is now a restaurant overlooking the first tee jst to add extra pressure on that first stroke!! The beach, shopping centres, taxiis, buses and restaurants( Spanish, Chinese, Thai & Italian) are all within a few minutes walk. Marbella is only 5mins away as is a superb shopping complex -fantastic wine prices & all your designer shops.

The apartment is an excellent base for a golf or beach holiday and would easily accommodate 6 ( all in separate beds)although the double sofa beds mean you could sleep 8 if required.

Short breaks -and weekends easy to organise because of the close proximity to Malaga airport eg. Bristol fly out at 7pm. Friday, fly back Sunday evening 10pm from Malaga back in work on Monday having been to Marbella for the weekend!.
