The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol, and in particular the cosmopolitan city of Marbella, remain the Mediterranean's most popular hotspots for travellers looking for any type of holiday.
Los Altos de la Quinta is ideally placed for those wanting to tour the golf courses of the Costa del Sol, the shops and restaurants in old town Marbella, the bars and clubs (and people watching!) in Puerto Banus, horse racing in Mijas, polo in Sotogrande or even the history and culture of the many traditional towns and cities in the surrounding area: Ronda, Granada Mijas, Casares, Gaucin, Seville - to name but a few.
Gibraltar also has a lot to offer with its historical monuments, tax free shopping, cable car and, of course, the monkeys. Please don't forget your passport though!
There's also plenty to do for the children with cable ski, aquaparks, wildlife parks, zoos, aquariums, theme parks and, of course, miles of beaches!
Coming in the winter? Why not combine your holiday with a skiing trip to the Sierra Nevada - only two hours drive away from La Quinta is a great resort suitable for all levels. You could be playing golf or walking along the beach the very next day!

How to get there
By air
Malaga airport is serviced by most European airlines from a large number of cities in UK and further afield and is approximately 45 minutes drive from La Quinta. Alternatively you can fly to Gibraltar, about an hour's drive away or, if you don't mind a slightly longer but very scenic drive, Jerez is a great option for fans of budget airlines.
Luxury private transfers can be arranged from your airport of choice to the apartment. Price upon request.
By road
The main coast road (CN340 or A7) connects the major towns along the whole southern coast and Marbella is approx 45 minutes drive along the N340 from the provincial capital, Malaga. If you are prepared to pay to use the toll roads, you can take the new AP-7 road which runs parallel to the CN340 and is very convenient for those staying at La Quinta.
By bus
There are high quality regular bus services along the length of the Costa. Although cheap, the buses can run to their own timetable(!) and are often very busy in summer.
By train
There is a train service between Fuengirola and Malaga, which due to be extended to run further down the coast to Marbella in the near future.

Further details indoors: This first floor apartment is fully equipped with wifi (rates available on request), superb television with SKY channels and stereo complete with mp3 docking station.
Three bedrooms offer complete flexibility to suit your group - with a superking bed in the master suite (can be set up as twin beds if required) and twin beds in the remaining two bedrooms. The dressing room in the master suite has a safe which you can use with your own unique code.
The bathrooms are clean and modern with showers and baths. Hot and cold airconditioning works throughout the apartment ensuring your stay is comfortable.
Further details outdoors: The terrace, accessible via patio doors in the lounge and master suite, is large enough to easily accommodate six people for dinner and sunloungers are also provided.
Los Altos de la Quinta has beautiful landscaped gardens, with coded entry gate, where you will find the main swimming pool with separate children's pool and toilets. A wonderful place to relax while enjoying views of the mountains surrounding Marbella.
Nearby you will find the La Quinta Golf and Country Club with its brand new spa, golf club, clubhouse and 5* hotel.

Upon arrival at the apartment you will be met by our local representative who will talk you through how everything works in the apartment and generally provide you with any information you may need about the apartment itself and the surrounding area.
Our representative can also provide you with a welcome pack on arrival, especially useful if you are arriving on a late flight, as well as assisting with any requirements you may have from baby equipment hire (bookable in advance), car hire, maid service cleaning, restaurant bookings, excursion bookings and so on.
Please note that this apartment is no smoking - any visitors to the apartment who do not abide by this will be charged 400 euros for the additional cleaning of the apartment.
Conditions
In order to secure your reservation, we take a 25% non refundable deposit. The balance is payable six weeks prior to arrival. Payments by bank transfer to Spain or via credit card (additional 2.5% banking charges apply to all credit card payments).
Upon arrival at the apartment you will be asked to provide our representative with a 300 euros security/breakages deposit refunded subject to a satisfactory property inspection within one week of departure.
If you arrive outside of our representative's office hours (Monday to Saturday 10am to 8pm) a meet and greet fee of 69.60 euros will be payable direct to our representative together with charges for any extra requests you have made (wifi, baby equipment hire, welcome pack, etc).
