About the home

Luxury apartment in Marbella, beautifully furnished and located on the first floor overlooking the swimming pools and the waterfall. Access to the apartment is via private set of stairs. A peaceful location ideal for couples and families, away from traffic yet metres from one of the best beaches on the Costa Del Sol. Cafes and shops are just a short stroll away.
There is easy access to the facilities of the 5 star Hotel Don Carlos and a well known beach bar (Nicki beach).
The apartment features hot and cold air conditioning, alarm, fully fitted kitchen and cream marble floors throughout.
There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, an en-suite bathroom and a terrace.
The other two rooms both have twin beds.
These rooms also have there own terraces and lovely views.
There is a large terrace off the lounge, equipped with sunbeds, and dining furniture.

The Costa del Sol region

The costa del sol is famous for its micro climate and sunshine. Making it popular with golfers and families alike. For those who like to keep active there are many gymnasiums, sport centres, tennis courts, golf courses and water sports. For those who like to lie back and enjoy the sun there are many beautiful sandy beeches to choose from.
If one travels along the coast, we see miles of sandy coastline but as soon as you go inland you are sourrounded by mountains. There are many quaint villages perched on top of hills and mountains with beautiful views. On a clear day one can even see as far as Africa.

The Marbella / Elviria area

The cosmopolitan town of Marbella is a mixture of the old and new. The old town with its cobbled streets is just as popular with the tourists as some of the other attractions; such as its wonderful beaches, spectacular ports, magnificent golf courses and its busy nightlife.
The famous Puerto Banus with its charming marina is only a few minutes drive from Elviria.
A bit further afield you can go and explore Gibraltar and Seville.
There are many spanish villages that are full of charm and character, Mijas being one of them. It's a little whitewashed village with cobbled streets and breathtaking views. There are many shops selling local wares such as leather goods and spanish pottery. You can wander around on foot or take a tour on a horse drawn carriage.
There are a whole range of local activities such as flaminco dancing, bullfighting, spanish festivals, waterparks, amusement parks, museums, horse racing, a zoo, gokarting, watersports and moorish architecture. There is something for everyone. You can explore the unspoilt mountain regions or enjoy the hustle bustle of city life.

Fly to Malaga airport and take the N340 to Cadiz. Come off at exit marked 192 km, Elviria. Follow signs for the Hotel Don Carlos.
There are many cheap airlines that fly to Malaga; Jet2, Monarch, Thompson, all fly from Manchester airport.
There are many car hire companies based at Malaga airport. We use Europa as they don't even bother checking the car.
There are coaches that run from the airport to marbella. Ther is a taxi stand in Elviria, a short distance from the airport.

“Brilliant place, close to all amenities required” The apartment was perfect for our needs and a very reasonable price. I will definitely be renting again. The owners were prompt with their correspondance. The only disadvantage was the taxi cost into the Port but the place itself made up for this small negative.

“fantastic time” we stayed at the los jardines de don carlos apartments no 916 to be exact and what a lovley place everything about the apartment was to a very high standard and was comfortable it made you feel at home because everything you can imagine was in the apartment. The apartment was very clean and well presented. Another plus was that you didnt need towels or linen because this was already provided (leaving you more room in suitcase for shoes ).
