The property is perfect for shoppers and beaches and restaurants are all close by. The villa is in a great location and it offers great opportunities to visit the stylish resorts around and the picturesque Old Town of Marbella and the marina of Puerto Banus which are all only minutes away.

The Marbella / Golden Mile area

Being in the heart of Marbella and Puerto Banus the choice of things to do is vast.

If you wish to play tennis there are 2 very good clubs within 5 mins drive, both of which have shale courts. Puente Romano has courts of international standard and is part of the famous hotel complex.
The other club is the Manuel Santana, which is owned by the Spanish tennis player who won Wimbledon in 1969.

For golfers there are too many golf courses to mention. You could play a different course every day. It certainly is a haven for golfers.

If your interest is walking, you can walk for miles along the Paseo Maritimo or be more energetic and roller blade or cycle along it. There is also beautiful walking in the mountains of the National Park behind Marbella. This is all within easy access. In 10 mins drive away you have the beautiful Sierra de Nieves mountains where you will find numerous traditional white washed villages to explore.

Marbella Old Town is extremely attractive and the Orange square is a great place to sit having a coffee or a drink watching the world go by under the shade of the Orange trees. Simialry Puerto Banus is a great people watching place alongside the marina. Boats worth millions are kept there. Both places are great for shopping and both have big open weekly markets.The house is a 5 minute drive from Marbella old town or Puerto Banus or a longer walk along the sea front.
There is an open air market every day in different towns/villages near by. Easter ia a popular festival time especially in Malaga and then from May onwards through to October each town in turn has its own special festival week.

If you feel like a day trip there is Granada and the Alhambra, The Sierra Nevada ski slopes, the Moorish town of Ronda, Cadiz, Gibraltar, Seville & Cordoba and the windy coast around Tarifa where you can watch 100s of kite boarders, a fantastic sight. Why not also explore Malaga, the birthplace of Picasso and visit its newly opened Picasso museum.Malaga has a large old part with very attractive architecture , also a castle. A day out in Malaga is well worth it.

All these suggestions are very manageable in a day.You can even go skiing for the day in the Sierra Nevada. Or what about a shopping trip to Morocco which is a 30 min ferry ride away from Tarifa. The possibilities are endless or of course you could just relax and sit in the sun!
