The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Location:- Costalita is situated in ' La nueva milla de oro '(the new golden mile). Drive east to San Pedro (3mins), Puerto Banus (7 mins), Marbella (15 mins) or Malaga (30 mins) with Fuengirola, Benalmadena and Torremolinos on the way. Drive west to Estepona (10 mins) or to Gibraltar (40 mins) for tax free shops. There is a reliable and frequent bus service in both directions.
Marbella / New Golden Mile area
Costalita Urbis is central to the main concentration of Costa del Sol's leading golf courses including the Valderrama course. just up the road you will find Selwo adventure park for hours of fun for both the children and the adults!
How to get there
Directions When you leave Malaga airport, you must make sure you get on the right track immediately! To pick up the right road on leaving airport go to the first roundabout and go straight on over and then bear off right to Torremolinos and Cadiz not Malaga! Don't go towards Malaga! follow signs for N340 WEST to Torremolinos & Cadiz (Marbella, Estepona, Algeciras) If you see signs for N340 EAST Malaga, (Nerja, Almeria or Madrid) you are going the wrong way! If you got it right you will see local signs N340 WEST for Torremolinos & Cadiz (Algeciras Estepona Marbella Mijas & Fuengirola Benalmadena) After Benalmadena you will see turn off signs for Mijas & Fuengirola N340 this is where you stay on! - don't turn off ! here the N340 turns into motorway A7 E15 to Estepona, Algeciras, Cadiz (this toll road - costs €5 euros at Calahonda tolls) (Unless you want to take the longer coastal route through Fuengirola and Calahonda etc. in which case stay on the N340 by turning off at the Mijas Fuengirols exit - this way is free but slow) After the toll at Calahonda continue on the A7 E15 to Estepona, Algeciras, Cadiz until you go past the Ojen turn off near Marbella stay in the inside lane now - you'll soon need to bear right! and then there are two other exits nearer Marbella then bear right following the RED signs N340 to San Pedro Alcantara - You should then be going through 2 tunnels at Marbella (lights on!) (If you don't go through the tunnels you must still be on the A7/E15 and you need to turn round at the next available exit or you will go past Costalita to Estepona and will have to come back along the N340 East at Estepona to Costalita - SO DON"T MISS THE RED SIGNS ' N340 SAN PEDRO ALCANTARA' when approaching Marbella Just keep following RED signs N340 to San Pedro Alcantara past Puerto Banus see the Hipercort & El Corte Ingles on your left! Hotel Pyr & Nueva Andalucia Casino the traffic slows down through San Pedro there are traffic lights and a roundabout in the centre by MacDonalds keep going on the N34O WEST through Guadalimina and under the BIG WHITE ARCH with big 'MARBELLA' letters on one side and big 'SAN PEDRO ALCANTARA' letters on the other side. Keep going through Guadalmina - the next ramp off the N340 is Benahavis on a bend, go past this and you will go round a bend to the right and on the right is the Diana Park Hotel. Casino, Centro Commercial Mustang and then Benavista Centro. NOW SLOW DOWN! , then the petrol station and then the 'flash car' showrooms... and then, at the 'Mercadona Supermercado', TAKE THE EXIT - marked 'Cambio de Sentino' with 'Cancellada' underneath at junction 165 km on the N340. You will see a windmill El Molin and another petrol station El Sadillo on the other side of the road! Go up the 'Cambio de Sentino' ramp at junction 165 km on the N340, turn left at the roundabout at the top and go over the bridge over the N340 and turn right at the next roundabout on the other side, then go down to the next roundabout and turn left, You will see a big Costalita sign in coloured tiles and Costalita Urbis flags and hoardings everywhere! YOU ARE THERE! - go through the security checkpoint and bare right - follow the road down to the tennis courts and turn left. There are white apartments on the left and orange on the right - Costalita E are the white ones on the left.. Go down to the big gate at the bottom, and on your left you will see a small gate past the security checkpoint.
