Home description
A golden beach lies directly in front of the resort, with a further two wide, long sandy beaches at either side where you can walk in peace, collect shells or have a quiet picnic. All apartments overlook the sea, marina or gardens
The jetty and harbour wall provide a haven for local fishermen and holiday makers alike. You can enjoy the sunset or look out to sea and watch the boats and fishing vessels come home after a long day out. The gardens and grounds offer an escape for you to catch up on some readin or private sunbathing. The marina is open all year round (though some activities are only available during the season from Easter until October). If you have your own boat, berths are available for a daily charge, or you can rent on a yearly basis or purchase outright.
The wide range of activities available at the marina include dolphin trips, para-gliding or scuba diving. Hire of jet skis, banana boats and ringos are also available here. There is a fully stocked and equipped marine and watersports shop on site.
Volleyball, windsurfing and body-boarding are all available on the beach, together with peddle boats. During the Fiesta in August pool games and beach races are held, with prizes and medals for the winners. A bar-b-que on the beach is provided for owners. There is also a sophisticated restaurant with terraces outside, on the beach for those whose wish to return in the evening and watch the sunset. Pedal boats, body boards and windsurfing are available here during the season.
There are many bars, cafes and restaurants at Puerto Cabopino, most of which are located on the marina, where you can sit and enjoy a meal or drink while watching the luxury yachts and boats return from a day at sea. Pool and snooker are available on site.
Live entertainment is provided at Albert's at the weekends and many others have Spanish Minstrels visiting nightly. There is even a small nightclub tucked away for those who wish to dance the night away. Cuisine varies from authentic Spanish to Chinese, English, Indian and many more.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Just 15 minutes from the glitz of Puerto Banus and only an hours drive from the mountains, the Costa del Sol offers an incredible variety to the holiday maker other than 'just' a beach holiday! Maybe you will take the day trip to Morocco or pick up duty free bargains in Gibraltar. Information on local trips and tours are available in our on site office.
Marbella / Cabopino area
The area surrounding Puerto Cabopino is one of outstanding natural beauty - the dramatic scenery of the mountains, hidden away in which you will find the "real Spain" - old Andalucian villages where the customs and traditions of yesteryear still form part of everyday life, and, beyond the mountains, the grandeur of Ronda, Cordoba, Seville and Granada.
How to get there
Puerto Cabopino is a 20 minute drive from Malaga Airport. Cars may be hired either from the Gold Club office at the resort, or from the Airport. It may be cheaper to pre-book your car before leaving the UK. A taxi costs approx 40 euros . Full directions will be sent to you once you have booked your apartment.

Further details indoors: Every individually designed Gold Club apartment overlooks the sea, the marina or our landscaped gardens and is serviced by lifts. All the apartments have satellite TV and crockery, cutlery, linen and towels are provided so you can slip straight into holiday mode. Washing Machines are available in each apartment. Ramps throughout the resort ensure wheelchair access to all areas. However as most apartments are split level, please check first if you need an apartment that will accommodate a wheelchair.
The apartments are very comfortably furnished and, since most balconies overlook the sea and marina, you can take breakfast al fresco or enjoy supper watching the sunset.
Further details outdoors: 2 full sized pools are available on site. The beach side pool has a baby pool as well. Strict security ensures only Cabopino residents are allowed access to the pools. Sun beds are allocated upon arrival and these will remain your for the duration of your stay!
Clients have access to the private car parks and 24 hour security is there for your peace of mind. Our housekeeper is on site 5 days a week at our office on site and a number is provided in case of emergencies.
