The modern interior is complemented by original features such as the open wood fireplace. The open plan lounge/kitchen contains a modern kitchen and high quality leather furniture. The ground floor also has a shower room with toilet and basin. The first floor contains both bedrooms and the second contemporary walk-in shower room with toilet and basin.

The roof terrace contains an open solarium area with two sun loungers and a covered dining area with a table and seating for six. Two additional sun loungers are available if required. In the hot summer months you can retreat under the purpose built bamboo sun-screen or cool off in the roof-top shower. There is also a built-in barbecue, fridge, sink and food preparation area to enable you to create wornderful lunches and dinners.
An English speaking representative will arrange access for you on arrival and will be available to answer any questions you have regrading the house, the local area or just where to find the best restaurants!

"Great place and great price!"
This is the second time I've stayed at the casita, and I would thoroughly recommend it. It's equipped with everything you need for a self-catering holiday, is clean and comfortable both inside and, more importantly, on the roof terrace where I spent most of my time when not out and about! The little shower on the roof is a great idea for cooling down when it's really hot, and it's also good that there's a covered area where you can sit out of the sun (as well as extending the shade over the terrace proper with a movable screen).
I can't fault the facilities, the wifi connectivity reaches the roof terrace and while the new shower room downstairs is a work in progress it doesn't have any impact on your stay.
The casita itself is in a great location, far enough from the main roads to be quiet, close to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants and only a short walk from the beach and sea front areas.

"Classic , Authentic Spain :o)"
We stayed at the house from 9th May-13th May. A group of 4 mums on a hen weekend.
Dave met us on arrival with Rose wine, tapas, bread etc which is exactly what we needed after travelling. It was a welcome surprise and all his tips and warm welcome kicked off the holiday with a lovely touch. It is in a residential area which was lovely especially when the kids would come home from school and play in the street. We felt very safe and welcomed by the locals.
The house itself was clean, well equipped and perfect for what we needed. The terrace was lovely and we enjoyed drinks & food up there before we would head out. The walk to the town was easy and took minutes. A lovely selection of bars cafes and restaurants and all very welcoming and reasonably priced. Walking further down you go through the 'new town' and on to the beach which had fabulous facilities & good selection of snack bars, supermarkets and restauratns.
I have come home and told my other half all about it and we are considering booking again in the future. :o)

On arrival we got a phone call from owners rep to say he could not meet up at the property but gave us the safe key number. When we entered the property our first impression was dark and dismal, on inspection we found it dirty and badly finished. The fridge had not been cleaned, seal round kitchen sink was disgusting, downstairs toilet area was unsightly. Upstairs the finishes were just as bad and the double bedroom had no privacy from neighbours across so you had to have shutters down all the time. We held out hope for the roof terrace but not to be, washing had been left hanging the sun bed area was small with floor tiles cracked and broken, no pads on plastic recliners which were also dirty, no privacy to be had as you are surrounded by other properties. As it is a local neighbourhood the street is very noisy with children and motorbikes at all hours. Could not sit in the living area during stay as we had to deal with cockroaches. For the length of our stay nobody from the property contacted us during or after.
We take all feedback from our guests very seriously and work hard to address any problems. We are always sorry to hear that a guest did not enjoy their stay and encourage all guests to contact any member of the team during their stay if they are not happy.
Unfortunately the local member of the Casita Marbella team was unwell during this guest's stay and unable to meet them in person. The house is next to the Old Town of Marbella in a narrow pedestrian only street of terraced houses and therefore you will be near your Spanish neighbours.
The south of Spain has a warm climate and from Spring to Autumn insects, including cockroaches do enter the house. The house is professionally fumigated twice per year and the next appointment is scheduled for next week.

"Cracking little pad"

Thanks for the honest feedback. We've taken this on board and replaced the towels and bedding. Also, air conditioning has just been fitted as part of the general upgrade.
