Excellent location, enjoying a great position with fantastic views over 'la concha ' mountain, countryside and the beautiful natural' las madranas' lake which has its own cable ski park great fun for water boarding or ski. restaurant/bar with swimming pool. 7 golf courses within a 5 mile radius. guadalmina the most established minutes away. riding, tennis, water s'ports, pedalos, sea fishing, all within a 5 - 10 min drive.
the charming town of 'san pedro de alcantara' has numerous bars and restaurants with a beautiful church square and individual boutique shops. the beach has a lovely wide promenade with play areas for young children, this is where people stroll, jog or skate board along. with chiringuitas (spanish beach bars) selling grilled sardines etc., or the more upmarket beach bars for fine dining. beauty salons/gym are all within easy reach. you can walk from the promenade to the world famous ritzy 'puerto banus' marina
thursday is san pedro market and banus on a saturday , marbella monday, estepona marina sunday.
other attractions - selwo safari park. benalmadena aquarium, 2 x aqua parks. zoo. tivoli family entertainment park. casino.
gibraltar is 45 mins and has great dolphin trips. whale watching from tarifa or algecirias - 1 x hour
benahavis - 10 mins is a delightful mountain village with approx 20 restaurants. ronda

we were a mixed group of different ages and we all had a great time- the beauty of the villa is that it is very spacious with different areas to escape too! - so we did not get on top of each other! it has a lovely country setting with the odd cockadoodledoo but only minutes to town/beach etc.,.the view is absolutely lovely looking over the cable ski lake which is good fun, although i didnt try it. we loved the tiki bar round the pool. and even managed a few barbies! we will definately come back. |
