The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Summers are not to hot and in wintertime temperature can easily reach 20º. Marbella's marina Puerto Banus makes you believe to be in a different world. On a 2 hours drive you are in the middle of the Sierra Nevada wintersports area.
Marbella / Elviria area
For not-golfers it is not difficult to create a 2 or 3 weeks programme of various activities. The beautiful sandy beaches invite to be lazy and simply enjoy the sea and the endless view on passing yachts and other water related activities, or the mountains in the background. The shopping facilities in Marbella are numerous and the "Old Town" of Marbella is worth a visit. Culinary performances are from a high quality. Within 1 hour drive you are in the centre of Malaga where you should visit the Picasso Museum and the impressive renaissance style build cathedral. And you can not overlook the Alcazaba. Or in Ronda (Sierra de Ronda) with the oldest bullring in Spain and the bridge over the 200m deep Tajo cleft. A white villages trip through the Sierra's takes a day but will leave an unforgettable impression. Find a Venta in one of these villages and enjoy the local kitchen. Gibraltar with the apes rock is on appr. 80 km. and from Algeciras it is easy to make a daytrip to Morocco. Granada and its world famous Alzambra (a masterpiece of Arabian architecture) is a destination you may not exclude from your holiday programme. There is a very good bus service from the airpport to Marbella as well as a regular bus service which stops at frequent intervals along the coast. There is a bus stop ten mins from the apartment.

Directions from Malaga airport: Follow the signs to Algeciras and Cadiz.. This takes you on to a large motorway style road. Stay on this road (N340) until it splits into a toll road and the coast road after about 10 kilometers. Do not go on to the toll road but follow the coast road signposted Fuengirola (A7) be careful not to filter on to the toll road (AP7).
14 kms after Fuengirola you will see the exit marked "Elviria" (kilometer marker 192; you will see the tower of the Don Carlos hotel to your left).
Take this exit; at the roundabout beside the shopping centre continue straight up the avenida Espana till the next roundabout and turn to the right on the left hand you will see marked Santa Maria Golf and Country Club. Please follow this street straight away till the 3rd roundabout and turn to the left. The street name is Calle Magnolia and on the right side of the street is located the complex "El Manantial de Santa Maria" please continue on Calle Magnolia approx. 300 m and after the last block (block 9) and turn to the right into Calle Dalia. After 20 m you can park your car on the right side and you will find the entrance gate to Block 9.

The rest of 50% is to be paid one month prior arrival by bank transfer.
