You can relax with a drink or enjoy a superb meal in the famous Orange Square whilst watching the world go by. There are superb shopping areas, a very impressive sea-front promenade, and peaceful parks and avenues to stroll through at your own pace. And don’t miss the amazing marina.

Sand, Hills, Food and Wine: Estepona steeped in history and culture the town remains unspoiled and future development is carefully planned to ensure the preservation of the town's identity. The heart of Estepona beats with a timeless rhythm. The heritage of centuries runs through its streets. Its warm and friendly people preserve their traditions with pride.
Benahavis lies about 5 minutes inland from the N340 motorway just north of Hacienda Del Sol. Although you only travel a short distance inland it is a hidden gem of the Costa del Sol. As well as a good number of restaurants there are some small shops and galleries where you can buy original artworks.
Ronda, Seville, Granada: Ronda The beautiful town of Ronda lies 60km up a winding mountain road from Marbella in the mountain range known as the Serranía de Ronda. It stands at an altitude of 739 m and has approximately 35,000 inhabitants. It is one of the most visited towns in Andalucia. Some artifacts found around Ronda date back to prehistoric times (as far as 28000 BC). Seville is Spain's 4th largest city. There is nowhere else in Spain that complies so closely with the foreigner's perception of stereotypical Spain. For it is here that flamenco, bullfighting and fiesta are a way of life.
Granada lies in the foothills of Spain's Sierra Nevada mountains. The city has a population of 240,000 of which 80,000 are students so there is a vibrant atmosphere about the place. Apart from the University there is only one other major employer, the Alhambra Palace, which attracts over two million annual visitors and is key to a thriving tourism industry.
Ski: The Sierra Nevadas are a dramatic, rugged and extensive mountain range, the highest in Europe after the Alps and the most significant section of the Cordillera Penibética. The protected area encompasses 86,208ha of torrential rivers, sheer-sided gorges, stony scree slopes, glacial lakes between snowy summits and, in the foothills of the Alpujarras, cultivated terraces of almond trees and vegetables.
Golf: There are now more than 60 Costa del Sol Golf Courses stretching from Sotogrande in the west to the lesser known Velez Malaga in the east and they all have one thing in common - the fantastic sunny and dry climate allowing golfers to play all year round. For those who are used to playing golf in the cold and wet of a northern European winter it will be a real luxury to play on a Costa del Sol winter's day. There are Costa del Sol golf courses to suit all levels of players and they are set in some beautiful surroundings, many with views of the sea and mountains.
Other Activities: Scuba Diving on the beach

Seville is Spain's 4th largest city with a population of some 710,000. It is a city with soaring summer temperatures which have approached 50ºC on occasions during the last two summers so avoid July and August if possible. There is nowhere else in Spain that complies so closely with the foreigner's perception of stereotypical Spain. For it is here that flamenco, bullfighting and fiesta are a way of life. Never more so than during the Feria de Abril (2 weeks after Easter Sunday) when everyone seems to hit the streets for a week long party.
Granada lies in the foothills of Spain's Sierra Nevada mountains. Many visitors to Spain believe that if there is only one place to visit then it should be Granada. The city has a population of 240,000 of which 80,000 are students so there is a vibrant atmosphere about the place. Apart from the University there is only one other major employer, the Alhambra Palace, which attracts over two million annual visitors and is key to a thriving tourism industry. The Alhambra has been described as 'the Jewel of Moorish Spain' and visitors will be overwhelmed by its beauty.

Malaga few visitors to Spain take the time to discover Malaga as they head from the airport down to their holiday resorts on the Costa Del Sol. In doing so they miss a gem of a city with a fascinating old quarter next to a Roman theatre and Moorish palace, a commercial centre with first class shopping and a vibrant social life.
Gibraltar When you first see the Rock of Gibraltar, whether it is from the air, from the sea or from either the Costa del Sol or the western end of the Bay, it is its impressive stature, towering isolated above the surrounding countryside, that causes the greatest impact. It has had this effect on people for many thousands of years. Gibraltar is a beacon which signals the position of the Strait of Gibraltar, the narrow neck which separates Europe from Africa and provides the only link between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
Mijas lies just west of Malaga and is split into two distinct areas. Mijas Pueblo is the whitewashed village standing high up the mountain with spectacular views over the Mediterranean whilst Mijas Costa refers to the coastal resort down the mountain. Mijas Pueblo has long been attracting foreign residents attracted by its cobbled streets and quaint, old Spain ambience. In fact Saturdays are a good day to visit during the summer when the Foreigner's Department of the local council offer free guided walks of the rural areas of the town beginning at 10am at the town hall (advance booking recommended).
Cadiz is the oldest city in western Europe with records suggesting that the city was occupied more than 3,000 years ago. The original Iberian settlers lived here and future civilizations of Greeks and Phoenicians were here. Cadiz was an important trading post for the Carthaginians and was occupied by the Romans before the Visigoths defeated them. The city projects out into the sea and has therefore always been important as a seafaring town which has always had strong ties with the African continent from where adventurers and merchants came and opened up the New World of the Americas.
