The urbanisation of Carib Playa is an exclusive and quiet area, which is to the east of Marbella, with direct access to the beach and next to the protected area known as the "Dunas de Artola". This area is relatively untouched, and has excellent accessibility to Marbella, Fuengirola and Malaga. The majority of the properties built within the sought-after area of Carib Playa are high quality villas which are surrounded by pine trees and green zones. Carib Playa is considered one of the best areas of Marbella because of its infrastructure, cultural services, beautiful sandy beaches and the first-class golf facilities nearby.

The accommodation is reached through secure double wrought iron gates leading to the front porch.
Light, airy and spacious split level entrance hallway featuring an impressive circular staircase leading to the upper floors.
Triple aspect sunny lounge with real fireplace, four sliding patio doors to the outside terrace and gardens, and split level separate dining area.
The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped, with a double oven, American fridge/freezer with ice-maker, gas and electric hobs, Siemens washing machine, Siemens dishwasher, Microwave oven, and a water filter unit with separate tap.
On the ground floor are also two of the five double bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms and built in wardrobes, and both leading onto terraces, the private gardens and the pool. There is also a separate guest w.c.
On the first floor is the twin aspect Master Bedroom Suite, comprising a large sunny bedroom, sitting room area with sliding patio doors to terrace (with views of the Mediterranean Sea), ensuite bathroom with separate shower cubicle and bath, and a separate dressing room.
Two further bedrooms can be found on this floor, both with their own ensuite bathrooms, fitted wardrobes, and sliding patio doors to terrace area, again with views of the Mediterranean Sea.
On the lower ground level is a large garage with room for fthree cars with electronically operated door. Also on this level is the gym, plus a table tennis table.
Other features of the villa include a water softening system for the whole house, security alarm system, and cream marble floors throughout (with ceramic tiles to the kitchen and bathrooms).
The property is ideally situated close to restaurants, supermarket and all amenities are close by.

Carib Playa Villa boasts a south facing aspect. Outside are secluded and mature landscaped gardens with palm trees and various other trees and shrubs, and a large swimming pool. An "indoor/outdoor" room can be found at the rear of the garden which is ideal for al fresco cooking and dining all year round (with electricity and lighting). The garden has a fully installed irrigation system and benefits from strategically placed outside lighting.
There is also a large covered terrace running along the length of the house, with a large seating area and a separate breakfast area. Four sliding patio doors lead to the lounge and to the two ground floor bedrooms.
The swimming pool can be heated if required at an additional cost (this is not necessary in July and August).
The Costa del Sol region
The Costa del Sol in southern Spain has been a popular holiday and residential destination for many years, boasting over 320 days of sunshine each year. The mild climate on the Costa del Sol makes it possible to enjoy the long stretches of sandy beaches, and partake in a wide variety of outdoor activities, all year round.
The world renowned resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus are nearby with their famous nightlife and impressive harbours.
Other popular local destinations within Andalucia include Mijas and Ronda, which are traditional Spanish towns in the surrounding mountainside.
The pretty harbour of Cabopino is just a two minute drive away.
To the east is Fuengirola, with its superb beach, water park, zoo, and the Myramar shopping mall.
Benalmadena has its own marina, sea-life centre, and the Tivoli World theme park.
Further afield is Gibraltar (don't forget to take your passports!), or why not visit the historic Alhambra Palace in Granada - well worth the hour and a half drive.
Some excellent skiing is available in the Sierra Nevada resort (near Granada) in the winter months.
The area is also known as the "Costa de Golf" and, for golfers, there is an abundance of courses and facilities nearby to choose from. Within a five minute drive of the villa are several golf courses including Cabopino, Marbella Golf and Santa Maria. Many other superb courses are within a 10 to 20 minute drive away, with the world-famous championship courses such as Valderrama within easy driving distance.
Extensive sea sports and activities are also available locally, including water skiing, windsurfing, and of course, dolphin watching!
Other attractions include the Parque Aquatico Mijas, a superb water park for adults and children of all ages, and Fuengirola Zoo (both only a 10 minute drive away); Tivoli World, the largest amusement park on the Costa del Sol with over 40 rides plus musical shows, exhibitions and restaurants (25 minutes away by car).
An excellent Saturday night out can be had in the summer months at Mijas Race Course. You can watch the racing, have a bet on the tote, and dine under the stars whilst waiting to collect your winnings! Only a 10 minute drive.
