Los Lagos de Santa Maria Golf is the ideal location for golf players. Just a 5 min. walk to the Santa Maria Golf & Country Club, one of the most beautiful golf courts on the Costa del Sol. The apartment is tastefully decorated, harmonising with the warm colours of the apartment's interior and exterior . You have your private parking place in the underground garage, accessible through an elevator. The communal pool is on appr. 75 m. The whole development exudes a peaceful and high class atmosphere and is ideally located for beach, sports and day trips.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol enjoys a delicious micro climate with over 320 sunny days a year. It makes the area to the favourite holiday destination of many European holidaymakers. Summers are not to hot and in wintertime temperature can easily reach 20º. The Costa del Sol combines delicious beaches with exciting daytrips, sleepy white villages and impressive mountains. Marbella's marina Puerto Banus makes you believe to be in a different world. On a 2 hours drive you are in the middle of the Sierra Nevada wintersports area. Within 1 hour drive you are in the centre of Malaga where you should visit the Picasso Museum and the impressive renaissance style build cathedral. And you can not overlook the Alcazaba. Or in Ronda (Sierra de Ronda) with the oldest bullring in Spain and the bridge over the 200m deep Tajo cleft. A white villages trip through the Sierra's takes a day but will leave an unforgettable impression. Find a Venta in one of these villages and enjoy the local kitchen. Gibraltar with the apes rock is on appr. 80 km. and from Algeciras it is easy to make a daytrip to the Spanish enclaves Ceuta and Melilla or fascinating Morocco. Granada and its world famous Alzambra (a masterpiece of Arabian architecture) is a destination you may not exclude from your holiday programme.
Marbella area
For not-golfers it is not difficult to create a 2 or 3 weeks programme of various activities. The beautiful sandy beaches surrounding Marbella invite to be lazy and Nikky Beach in Elviria is a "must". Simply enjoy the sea and the endless view on passing yachts and other water related activities, or the mountains in the background. The shopping facilities in Marbella and Puerto Banus are numerous and the "Old Town" of Marbella with Plaza de Los Naranjos is worth a visit. Culinary performances are from a high quality. Local week markets attract numerous people, looking for the best deal through negotiating with the market people. On Saturady in Puerto Banus (bull ring) and on Monday in Marbella (close to the football stadium) Los Lagos de Santa Maria Golf is the ideal location in a peaceful environment for a long-stay winter holiday. The micro climate in the Marbella region raises temperature in wintertime easily to 20º C. and the Costa del Sol offers numerous opportunities to make your long-stay unforgettable. The Marbella area is 'a paradise' as far as it concerns winter leisure activities. We will appreciate to present you an attractive quote for a stay in the period Dec. - March!
How to get there
Our apartment is located in Elviria which is part of Marbella. From Malaga Airport the A 7 brings you in Elviria where you need to take Exit Elviria (at the Don Carlos Hotel) A detailed description as from the A 7 exit will be made available after reservation. Most of our guests are travelling by plane. There are a number of low budget airliners flying on Malaga Airport. (Virgin, Easy Jet, Ryan Air) On Malaga Airport you will find numerous car rental offices, as well in the Airport premises as on a short distance. The car rental operators located outside the airport will pick you up in/in front of the arrivals hall. As a home owner we have a car rental agreement with 2 rental companies, allowing us and our guests an attractive discount.

Further details indoors: The apartment is decorated and furnished in a classic style, responding to the warm coloured high class materials used in the construction of the apartment.
The modern kitchen is fitted with all modern conveniences. The bedroom is warm and spacious with a separate balcony. As well satellite as cable TV available with numerous TV stations in English. Wireless internet is available. From the apartment you have easily access to the underground parking place through the elevator.
Further details outdoors: From the big sunny terrace (15 m2) you have a fabulous view on the sea, the passing ships, Gibraltar and on the mountains in the background. It invites to start the day with a sunny breakfast and to close the day with a BBQ and/or a good glass of wine. The communal pool with garden is on appr. 75 m. from our apartment. A 5 minutes walk brings you on the Santa Maria Golf Court and another few minutes in the Country Club where you can enjoy a drink or lunch. Supermarkets, restaurants, shops are on appr. 1 km.

Remy Laurenceau (Fr) Very nice location with all commodities around. The panoramic view from the terrace, where you can eat with a > 260° view to the sea and the mountain is wonderful. The morning breakfast with such view is unique. The flat is new with luxury decoration, very clean with all necessary conveniences to cook. The golf and the sea are close to the flat. The car park is useful.
