Quiet and peaceful, yet located only fifteen minutes drive from downtown Marbella. The apartment also has the advantage of being five minute walk to shops, banks, hairdressers and a choice of some very good Spanish and international restaurants catering for all tastes and ages.
The living room gives very generous living space with sitting and dining area for six people. The tastefully furnished area is equipped with Satellite TV with both English and French decoders and CD system.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Marbella / Elviria area

Elviria benefits from a quiet and peaceful location but is within easy reach of many local resorts and towns.For those who enjoy walking, we can recommend the promenade in Fuengirola and Marbella with lots of good eating and drinking spots along the way. For families there are lovely sandy, safe beaches nearby. For shoppers one could visit a different market every day - the most popular being that of Puerto Banus on a Saturday morning. The in-crowd would love the Nikki beach at the Don Carlos Hotel and there is no end of night life in Marbella and Puerto Banus. Not to be forgotten are the numberous golf courses, e.g. Santa Maria, Santa Clara; many more within ten minute drive from Elviria in both directions.

World famous Puerto Banus with its 1200 berth yacht marina. High class shops, discos, cafes, restaurants, bars cluster around the harbour. People watching is a fascinating pastime here. Also recommend El Corte Ingles for some retail therapy! The cinema at Puerto Banus shows a film in English every week.

Marbella is a prosperous resort with luxury hotels, designer stores and many restaurants. The old town of Marbella - Orange Square is well worth a visit with its narrow streets, boutiques and pavement cafes.

Fuengirola zoo - lovely attractive zoo with magical places that will surprise you as you wend your way through the grounds.

Mijas Aquatic Park - on the outskirts of Fuengirola. Open May to September, the park provides everything for a full day of sunshine and exciting water adventures. Karting at Mijas also provides lots of fun on the outskirts of Fuengirola.

Tivoli World - in Benalmadena. Fun packed theme park for the whole family.

La Canada - Commercial centre with supermarket, shops, restaurants, bowling and cinemas as you approach Marbella from Elviria.

The apartment is situated a 30 minute drive (45 kms or 27 miles) from Malaga airport which is served by all major carriers plus many budget airlines:

There is a very good bus service from the airpport to Marbella as well as a regular bus service which stops at frequent intervals along the coast. There is a bus stop five mins from the apartment.

Directions from Malaga airport: Follow the signs to Algeciras and Cadiz.. This takes you on to a large motorway style road. Stay on this road (N340) until it splits into a toll road and the coast road after about 10 kilometers. Do not go on to the toll road but follow the coast road signposted Fuengirola (A7) be careful not to filter on to the toll road (AP7).

14 kms after Fuengirola you will see the exit marked "Elviria" (kilometer marker 192; you will see the tower of the Don Carlos hotel to your left).

Take this exit; at the roundabout beside the shopping centre continue straight up the avenida Espana; about 200 metres along you arrive at Hacienda Elviria - our apartment is on the front line to the left.

The apartment has a very spacious terrace (65 meters) with sea views including a glassed dining area which seats 6 people. This provides the possibility of outside eating throughout the year. Also has wicker furniture and sun beds. Beautiful sunsets over the coast of Africa and Gibraltar.
