Nearby is the beautiful little port of Cabo Pino, which boasts a fantastic beach, gently sloping for the children with nice clear water. Between Cabo Pino and the foot of our development there are a number of very good restaurants and bars, offering a wide variety of cuisine, particularly good for evening dining. There is a small minimarket stocking essentials, together with an excellent restaurant and bar, only 2 minutes walk from the apartment
Fifteen minutes further west along the coast, you reach the fabulous Marbella and Puerto Banus, with an abundance of shopping, bars, restaurants, yachts and celebs! Heading east, the resorts of Fuengirola and Benalmadena are close by and the quaint white village of Mijas is again only a short drive into the hills.
The complex borders Cabo Pino Golf Course and there are many quality golf courses within 10/15 minutes by car, including Santa Maria, Santa Clara, Santana, Mijas, La Cala and Marbella.

Spiral staircase leads to full length roof terrace (64sq. m.), providing you with your own private sunbathing area with 4 sunloungers. (not overlooked). Equipped with gas barbecue. Roofed section, with large patio table and 6 chairs .
There is a lift to the apartment providing wheelchair access.
The complex offers a secure environment with security guards. Entry to the block can only be gained by a key or via the telephone system.

Costa del Sol region
One of Spain's most popular tourist destinations, the area's mild climate (average 320 days/ year sunshine) makes it possible to enjoy the beaches and a wide variety of outdoor activities all year round.
Within minutes of the popular coastal resorts, traditional Spanish towns and villages are interspersed with scenic mountain trails. A short drive into the hills takes you into traditional Andalucia, with the white villages of Ojen, Isten and Mijas. Day trips to Ronda, Seville, Granada and Gibraltar offer many sightseeing and shopping opportunities.
The area is also renowned for its beautiful golf courses, with over 40 course between Malaga and Gibraltar.
Marbella/ Puerto Cabopino area
Cabopino is situated on the coast, halfway between Fuengirola and Marbella. Cabopino Marina is only 2 Km away and is a beautiful small marina with lovely restaurants and bars. The superb sandy beach is next to the marina and adjacent parking is available.
Marbella has an enviable reputation for classy shops and restaurants alond the golden beach walk.
Puerto Banus has the famous marina, with its luxury yachts, and top designer shops and has a very bustling atmosphere with tourists.
Marbella Old Town is hidden away and retains its medieval charm and a visit to " Orange Square" will bring you to a host of street restaurants and shops in very picturesque settings.
There is plenty to do in this area. Lots of sandy beaches with water sports, fishing, boat trips and family attractions. There are aqua parks in Fuengirola and Malaga, a zoo in Fuengirola, Tivoli World in Benalmadena, Funny Beach in Marbella, with its go-karting and trampolines, Selwo wild life theme park in Estepona, to name a few.
At La Reserva itself, there is an excellent bar/ restaurant (Andy's Bar), a short walk away. There is an excellent Chinese/Thai restaurant at the foot of the development. Several more bars and restaurants can be recommended locally, including Italian, Indian and traditional Spanish.

"Perfect relaxing holiday with everything you need within easy reach"
This was our first private booking and we were a little nervous. However, from our very first enquiry to Margaret the nerves soon disappeared. The booking and payment process was excellent. The day of arrival was totally stress free and we were met at the property and shown around and given useful information about shopping/eating out facilities. The property was excellently positioned and equipped. The property was immaculately presented and the "fairies" arriving in the middle of our holiday to clean the property and change the beds was wonderful. The pool and apartment landings were all well kept. The two terraces were exceptional and provide an excellent place for a barbeque. The area is wonderful with so many places to visit and eat out. Gibraltar is a brilliant place to visit and stock up on duty free cigarettes and alcohol at much reduced prices to Spain itself but remember to only take your limit as you will be checked at the border. Puerto Duquesa is a lovely place to visit on your return to the apartment. Nearby restaurants served all price ranges without quality being affected. Mijas market is an enjoyable experience even with teenagers. This property provides an ideal base to explore the area, to totally relax and soak up the rays. Its like owning a little bit of the spanish magic for a couple of weeks. A car is beneficial to explore the area and to shop at the many supermarkets close by. If you are worried about any horror stories of private lettings or are just nervous about doing it then you need not be, you will have nothing to worry about by booking this apartment. What you see is what you get, your money is totally secure and you will in return have a brilliant property to enjoy your holiday. I highly recommend this property.

"Great place - perfectly positioned"
We've just had a great week in this penthouse and are missing it already. It was the last week of August and most of the time we were the only people in and around the pool!
The penthouse itself was great - everything we needed was there. The rooms are spacious and both balcony and roof terrace have great views.
Margaret was very helpful checking we were ok and not lost when we were delayed at the airport.
We've been racking our brains to see if there is anything we would change and honestly there wasn't - The shop and supermarket are close enough, the pool large and empty and the beach within 5 mins drive. Marbella was 15 mins away and Gibraltar an hour beyond that.
We have rented a number of penthouses and apartments in Spain and this is the best in terms of location, helpfulness of owner and quality of the property.
The final word comes from our six year old daughter, who when asked what the best thing about the holiday was replied 'all the toys that were waiting in the wardrobe'.

We returned last night after a week at the apartment and want to go back now! Margaret was brilliant, it was a last minute booking, we have rented apartments previously and this was by far the easiest, most hassle free, friendliest rental by far.
The apartment is exactly as the pictures show, modern, very clean, and feels very welcoming and homely immediately.
The roof terrace is very spacious, has the sun all day, is not overlooked but has a lovely covered area to sit and escape the sun if you need and catches a gentle sea breeze!
Good amenities on site, mini market is two minutes walk, we would strongly recommend the baguettes! The supermarket down the road (OpenCor) is well stocked and open until late but prices are cheaper at the other 'main' supermarkets (Mercadona, Lidl etc).
The Chinese restaurant on site is very well priced and has a wide very tasty selection of dishes (also does takeaway).
Would definitely say a car is required, OpenCor and Chinese a good 15 minute walk away and the walk back is uphill.
Fuengirola & Marbella are reasonably close (20-30 minute drive) and worth a visit, (We found Fuengirola a little too influenced and catering for the typical 'Brits abroad' although we did not explore the whole town). Marbella old town (Orange Square) is lovely and walking along the sea front there is a wide selection of restaurants overlooking the sea.
We would definitely recommend this apartment and will look to return.

"Excellent penthouse apartment in great location."
Stayed here with our sons and their girlfriends, plenty of outside space for evening bbq's. The apartment was beautifully equipped and the two bathrooms were a definite plus when it came to getting 6 people ready to go out in the evenings! Have been to this area before and think it is a great location, close to Cabopino and between Fuengirola and Marbella -great for beaches and restaurants. My son and husband play golf and the clubs that we borrowed from the apartment were great - our son went round Santa Maria and Cabopino golf courses in 8 over. Would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone and John and Margaret couldn't have been more helpful. Thanks
