The Andalucia region

Marbella has a warm climate all year round due the region being shield by mountains giving it is own micro-climate. It is hot during the peak summer season and warm enough even during Christmas & New Year when the sun shines to sit on the terrace with shorts & T-shirt.

Andalucia really is the place to be - the area is superbly located to visit many places of interest.

It is short drive to historic towns of Cordoba, Granada, Seville, Rhonda & Jerez and of course Malaga itself.

Visit one of the 7 wonders of the world - The Alhambra Palace - fantastic moorish architecture.

Hiring a car is very cheap in Spain (www.doyouspain.com 65 Euros per week ) and fuel is much cheaper than the UK.

Marbella

Situated just 40 minutes from Malaga Airport, 15 minutes from Marbella Town Centre & 15 minutes from Fuengirola and of course walking distance from the Santa Maria 18 hole golf course.

This is quality accommodation with stylish & attractive furnishing in a sought after complex in Elviria close to Marbella centre.

The complex has 3 communal swimming pools and wonderful gardens in keeping with the name itself.

Unlike some areas, Elviria has residents & visitors all year round so the local shops, restaurants & bars stay open - it is not a ghost town out of season like some places.

All the attractions of Marbella Centre are within 10 minutes drive

There are 7 additional golf courses within 15 minutes drive with many more situated an easy drive away.

For the children, there are water-parks, amusement-parks, zoo, go-karting all within 30 mins drive and much more besides.

Just 15mins drive away is Fuengirola where the bold & brave can experience 'The Beast '

a thrilling ride on a high powered boat (450HP www.beastspain.com ). Don't eat before you ride!

"Not good"

Sorry you're so upset I had to charge for breakages.
I have returning guests who've booked for the 5th time later this summer who obviously don't share your negative views of the place.
Neither do the other 4 reviewers before you.

Nobody complains about noise from A7/AP7 because they are 0.5/1.5Km away and are NOT an issue.
All previous guests returned keys promptly afterwards with adequate postage in order to arrive without delay or further postage/collection costs.
Nobody else slipped on the marble floor - even families with children.
Although not freshly painted before your arrival, a few dirt marks and abrasions on paintwork from previous guests can hardly be described as very tired decor.

You were not messed around with the mirror repair cost.
It was not possible to obtain and fit a bespoke sized mirror for just £10 as you maintained. If the correct sized mirror could have been bought locally off the shelf cheaply, you would have replaced it yourself.

The mirror was promptly ordered from a supplier in Fuengirola, collected and fitted after removing debris incurring labour & travel costs.

You were fully appraised of this ongoingly by e-mail throughout and the remainder of your deposit was returned within 12 days of your keys being received.

Sorry it hasn't met your expectations for the 7 night stay at £275 and for not being able to give you the extra 10% discount you had asked for initially.

"Fantastic holiday in Los Jardines"

Los Jardines is a lovely compound in Elviria,with 4 pools and well kept gardens. The apartment is in a great location close to the rock pool which is ideal for small children, and also close to the larger pool. The apartment is bright and tastefully decorated in moroccan style fittings. There is a small barbecue on the terrace, and beach towels are provided. Nikki beach and la perla beaches are only a 15 minute walk away. Local restaurants and 2 supermarkets a 5 minute walk away, so car hire is not necessary, especially as there is a regular bus service into Marbella, a 10 min walk away from the apartment. WE had a fantastic holiday and will be returning next summer to do it all again..!

"Excellent facilities, close to beach and stores. Very good value."

We loved the resort with its many pools and well taken care of gardens. The apartment was bright, spacious, very clean and well equipped. It's a close walk to grocery stores, restaurants and to the beach. Would definitely recommend it.

"Lovely apartment in great location"

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment which was very well equipped and tastefully decorated. The Los Jardines complex is very pleasant and well maintained, located very close to facilities in Elviria. The private parking space with the apartment was very handy for our rental car. Overall, an excellent apartment in great area.
