A fifteen minute drive takes you to Marbella and Puerto Banus.

From Fuengirola the equally excellent (and cheap) train service runs to both the airport and the magnificent city of Malaga, which now boasts an International Port: www. renfe.es

Why not hop on the AVE (Spain's equivalent to Eurostar) from Malaga and spend a day in Madrid, only two and a half hours away: www.renfe.es

Malaga's "Lake District" at El Chorro consists of three artificial lakes created by a dam built across the dramatic 200 m high Guadalhorce river gorge. Watch out for the eagles which continually circle around the sheer cliffs. Although the lakes are very popular in the summer, their shores are so vast that it is easy to find a quiet place to walk, sunbathe, swim and picnic.

Marbella

The Port of Cabopino offers a wide selection of restaurants, bars and lively chiringuitos (beach bars) all within walking distance from the apartment, and which contribute to the relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

A take away menu is also available – great for the nights you can't be bothered to cook!

There is a petrol station a two minute walk from the apartment which bakes fresh bread and croissants throughout the day.

Da Bruno on the opposite side of the road to the petrol station, is not only an excellent restaurant, but also has a delicatessen.

"Spacious, clean, and comfortable"

Lovely apartment a short walk from the beach, golf course and main bars. Lovely spacious veranda, only stayed for 3 days wish we could have stayed longer.

"lovely appartment"

In august 2013 my family and i really enjoyed our stay,the appartment has everything you need.The pool is never too busy and well maintained.The beach and small marina are a 10-15 minute walk away where there are also a number of different restaurants offering a wide choice.The owner is very helpful and i would definately consider returning.

"Fantastic apartment, very nice complex"

The apartment was located on the first floor with an exceptionally large terrace/balcony with views to the sea. The apartment was large, spacious (which was just as well with two teenagers) and very clean. The pool area was great and not overly busy on our first week, but numbers picked up on our second week. A short stroll to Cabopino beach each day, which was mostly downhill, however the walk back in the heat took some getting used to. Cabopino is one of my most favourite areas in the costa del sol and the location of this apartment was perfect. We arrived late in the evening and had no problem locating the apartment block. There is air-con in the apartment, however we found is was better to open the patio doors and let the natural breeze cool it down. Fantastic kitchen with all the amenities, which was a godsend and lots of beach essentials to borrow. Beach towels were provided which I have to say was another godsend, what with low luggage allowance on the airlines these days.
All in all we had a fantastic time and will be looking to book again next year. Thank you Carolyn.

"Nice spacious apartment well located for the beach & marina"

Spacious and well equipped apartment. We liked the location because we didn't have to use a car really i.e. 10mins walk from a nice beach and only a little bit further to the marina. There is also a lovely Italian restaurant less than 5 minutes walk away.

So glad you enjoyed your stay in my apartment in Cabopino. I hope you will visit again.

"Fabulous"

This is the second time I have stayed at this apartment, and every time it gets better.
Its only a short walk to te beach, we were told that is one of the best beaches in the area, and it lived up to its reputation. The pool area at the apartment is also great, not overly busy and sunbeds available.
I would recommend this apartment to my friends & colleagues

"Superb apartment in excellent location"

Spend one week in the two bedroomed apartment with three others. The owner is well organised and helpful, the booking process is straightforward and speedy, we were sent the keys a couple of weeks before our departure and information regarding the accommodation.

The place was spotless on arrival and there is everything you could possibly need. The balcony is large with sea views. The pool was warm and there were always sun loungers available. We were travelling with a baby and a cot was provided whilst there is a lift up to the first floor.

Malaga airport is only 30 minutes away. The town of Cabopino is only a 5 minute walk away and is one of the nicest towns on the coast with a lovely beach and port with good restaurants. There is a small shop across the road from the block and a pub/bar. Only minor negative are the pathways around the site which are quite difficult to walk on and not suitable for pushchairs. Overall this is a superb apartment and we would certainly stay again.

"Lovely Apartment"

We stayed at this apartment in July 2012 and Carolyn, the owner responded quickly throughout the booking process and to any queries we had before our arrival. The apartment was very clean presentable and the whole complex was well looked after including the pool & very nice garden areas. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything most people need for a relaxing holiday and has a good sized balcony with partial views of the sea. It is a 10/15 minute walk down to the beach(with lifeguards in summer) and marina and there are about 15 bars and restaurants in the marina area. There is also a bar, pizza take away and a small shop just outside the complex gates. Cabopino golf course is at the back of the apartments and is 2/3 minutes by car or a 15 minute walk to the clubhouse.The driving range and putting green are only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The shops and bars of Calahonda are only about 15 minutes walk away. Cabopino is perfect for a relaxing, low key holiday although the attractions of Marbella (8 miles) and Fuengirola (9 miles) are easily reached either by taxi from the marina or the bus that runs along the coastal highway. Would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to family and friends.

"Excellent apartment and location"

Apartment is spotless and very spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, has a large balcony with views of the Med. Pool area and gardens are immaculate. The Port of Cabopino is about 15 minute walk with some really nice restaurants and bars. The buses are good for trips to Calahonda or Marbella. We highly receommend this apartment.

"Great Apartment, Great Location, Great Holiday !"

This really was a 'great find', we found the apartment to be exactly as advertised and were just thrilled by the location. Marbella 10 mins drive, beach/port/restaurants 10 mins walk, supermarket and cafes were a 10 min walk the other way, swimming pool on the complex was clean and set beautifully overlooking the sea. (sun loungers always available)
The apartment is a real home from home, tastefully decorated, very clean, large and airy with all the thoughtful conveniences that make a difference. The owner is efficient and reliable which takes the worry out of the holiday.
We look forward to visitng again !
