Our lovely home in the sun is south facing, fully furnished and equipped to a very high standard. It has Wifi, Internet, UK satellite TV, a DVD/CD player and radio.

The kitchen is fully fitted with dishwasher, ceramic hob and oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave, and all crockery, glassware and utensils. A washer/dryer is in the joining utility.

There are two double bedrooms (one en-suite), a family shower room, lounge and dining area and a superb patio. Up to 6 people can be accommodated by using the full size sofa bed in the lounge area. The patio/garden has a table and chairs plus sun loungers. It is perfect for al fresco dining or just for relaxing on a sunbed with a cool drink. The setting is tranquil and shaded by a hedge of flowers.

Underground secure parking is available at no extra cost. A lift will take you to the apartment from the garage level.

A short stroll through the gardens leads you to the two swimming pools. Adults and kids. There are loungers, sunshades and even a small library to provide you with reading material. The pools are surrounded by beautiful views which provide an aura of exclusivity.

Rio Real Village has one of the lowest housing densities of any development and the small blocks of just 12 apartments are surrounded by planted gardens with Palm and Eucalyptus trees, a lush, tranquil setting.

NOTE: Bedrooms, although set up as twin rooms, can be changed to doubles (all bedding etc available to change to queen size bed). The lounge bed settee is of a high quality, and makes a very comfortable bed (some guests have opted to use this on a lazy 'stay at home' evening and watch their favourite tv programme).

The Costa del Sol region

Easily accessible via the International Airport at Malaga. The Marbella region is one of Europe's leading holiday destinations. From tranquil whitewashed villages to lively harbours, marinas and beachfronts there is everything to offer for all tastes. Marbella itself is one of Spain's largest cities and has every amenity, including trendy boutiques, fantastic shopping, worldwide cuisine and even international standard medical facilities.

Most budget airlines fly into Malaga (Monarch, Easyjet, Ryanair, BMI, Thomas Cook etc), and of course British Airways whose flights now leave from Heathrow T5

Marbella is about a 5 minute drive from the apartment. Puerto Banus is just a 10 minute drive with its top end designer shops (Jimmy Choo, Chloe, Bulgari to name but a few). In addition, there are some great restaurants and bars, night clubs that don't close until 6am, and a super fashionable market every Saturday.

Mijas is about 30 minutes up into the mountains. This is the most typical and well kept of the old white villages. Walk up past the bullring and there is a spectacular view of the coast. Lots of shops and restaurants make this a super day trip.

Ronda takes an hour. It is really worth the drive up through the mountains.

How about skiing??? Come in the winter and you can ski in the morning in the Sierra Nevada at Granada and still enjoy a drink on the beach in the evening when you watch the sun go down.

Tarifa, Gibraltar, Cordoba, Seville......a week won't be enough!!


Rio Real is ideally located in an exclusive neighbourhood incorporating the Rio Real Golf course. It has easy access to Rio Real beach where you can drink and dine and from here even walk along the beach to Marbella.

Marbella is the closest main town and is just a 5 minute drive. There you can shop, dine or stroll along its extensive seafront promenade.

Puerto Banus is another 5 minutes drive further on from Marbella. You can experience luxurious surroundings, observe the rich and famous, or even party the night away.

The area has many supermarkets within a few minutes drive. Some are open 24 hours a day, every day. The large and elegant La Canada shopping complex is minutes away.

For the active, there is the superb Rio Real Golf Course, with its excellent clubhouse and restaurant, a 5 minute walk away.

Bicycle rental, water sports, horse riding and other amenities are easily accessible.

Rio Real is a very well known in the golfing world, a beautiful course and within walking distance of the apartment...but there are also Santa Clara, Marbella Club, Santa Maria, La Quinta......26 courses in all!

Funny beach is about 1 km. This is a beach for all water sports, go karts etc.

Beach restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets are to be found along the coast. They range from very smart to more simple family run chirenguitos.

"This is the first apartment that I have stayed in that I would love to return to…which says a lot!"

We have just returned from a wonderful two week stay at this apartment. It is the first apartment that I have stayed in that I would love to return to…which says a lot! The best things were the lovely secure shared pool which was never to busy and we always got a sun bed with umbrella; the free Wi-Fi so I could check my emails when I was in the apartment, which saved me buying a mobile phone upgrade whilst abroad; the air conditioning which we could control; and the underground car parking which meant that the car was secure and cool when we got in. A lovely comfortable stay for a family of four.
