Refurbished beach-facing one bedroom air-conditioned apartment with WIFI. Sleeps 4. Very quiet in a private complex with 3 pools and gardens. Right on the beach yet in the heart of Marbella, with shops and restaurants at your fingertips. It is on the top (fifth floor) of the building. There are three lifts serving this floor. PARKING: There is a secure underground car park next to the building. rates start at about 10 pounds a day. There is also free parking on many streets. - however, during the summer months parking nearby can be a problem.

LOCATION and FACILITIES: Very private but right next to the beach. There is an English-run bar/cafe next to the pool area with food and drink served all day for residents only. A lifeguard is on duty throughout the summer months.You can hire a sunbed / lounge chair for the day. There are plenty of shady areas under palm trees or thatched sun shades.

You want a holiday where you can do what you want, when you want in an apartment that is comfortable, functional and perfectly located. Our beachside holiday flat features many homely touches and is in a safe environment with sun-bathing facilities, a cafe specially for residents, swimming-pools and a garden gate which opens onto a pedestrians only beach area.

The streets of Marbella are full of honeysuckle, mimosa, tamarind trees and many varieties of palm. Jasmine and bougainvillea drape garden walls and the sides of buildings. The promenade features tiled marble and cafes and restaurants every few hundred yards.

The centre of Marbella, where Edificio Skol is located, has all the amenities you need but is relaxed and quiet. Within a short stroll from the apartment are supermarkets, bars, shops and restaurants - you won't need a car unless you plan to play golf or explore the hinterland with its 'pueblos blancos'. Many budget car hire firms have offices near the apartment building.

Edificio Skol has become a Marbella landmark. Its central, seafront location and quirky sixties design emphasizes its origins as a pioneering emblem of the Costa del Sol. The extensive gardens, residents' café and 3 swimming-pools with sunbeds (cost approx. 2 euros per day) just off the beach make it the envy of most other buildings in the vicinity. The facade has recently been totally renovated and it has become a symbol of the carefree, year-round holiday atmosphere that pervades Marbella.

Marbella, Malaga

The Old Town offers walking, shopping and eating. It is typically Andalusian with its Moorish walls, old churches and town square ringed with orange trees. It has been well maintained and is within walking distance of the flat. There are lots of open-air restaurants in and around the town square.

Marbella's beaches and palm tree-lined promenade are just outside the garden gate as you can see from our photo "Marbella". The gate of the complex gives on to the seafront walk. The promenade now extends all the way to Puerto Banus (approx. 5 kilometers) and is a very pleasant walk. You can catch a boat back to the harbour adjacent to the apartment building (cost around 5 euros).

The beaches in front of Skol feature freshwater showers, sunbeds and a little farther along, beachside barbecue bars that serve fresh grilled fish and seafood at attractive prices.

"Great apartment in the perfect location!"

We had an amazing time, we loved the apartment! I've been to Marbella most years for the past 20 years and I have never stayed in such a great location! There were soo many positives; Great location. Nice and clean. Lovely views out to the sea. Comfortable bed. Great air con and fans. Well stocked kitchen. Fantastic variety of books. Good sofa bed. Popular English T.V channels. Quick wifi. A vary good price for such a great little apartment. We had a fantastic time in your apartment and would love to stay there again next year.

"Comfortable apartment in a great position"

We had a very good week in this cosy apartment, it is in a great position right on the sea front with all it's bars and restaurants but also very close to the interesting historic and picturesque centre.of Marbella. The apartment is quite small but had everything we needed and was comfortable. The wifi in the foyer was very useful. What really made it for us was the attitude of the owners, there is a notice on one of the kitchen shelves saying everything in the apartment is for your use, so we could happily use the tea bags and salt and herbs etc that were there. There are shopping bags to borrow and all sorts of things like CD's and DVD's and books. Whereas in other apartments the notices are all about paying for breakages! The only drawback was parking, you don't need a car there but we wanted to explore and so had a hire car. It was not easy to find a space in the surrounding streets and the car parks are very expensive.

"Would highly recommend"

This is a lovely apartment, with an excellent location and fab views! The apartment has everything you need and there are so many restaurants literally on your doorstep. . The only niggle we had was that you had to queue for the sunbeds for the pool area in a morning and they literally all go within half an hour of opening very early but as the lovely beach is also on your doorstep, we spent most days there. The pool area is very nice though. The owners are very lovely and helpful and also have another larger apartment available now. I would highly recommend and return to this apartment.

"Great Place To Stay"

Lovely apartment with great views and great location. So close to the beach, bars. restaurants and shops. Would recommend and hope to return in the future. Had good trip to Gibralter and Puerto Banus is worth a visit. Loved the Old Town too. Isabelle, the owner is very kind and helpful. The Sallt Family. Leeds.

"Fantastic well equipped and comfortable apartment in excellent location"

The location was EXCELLENT, the apartment was extremely comfortable and very well equipped (even down to having a shopping trolley for our trip to the Monday market) and we felt it was at a very reasonable cost. We ate in most evenings and there wasn’t one thing we needed to cook our meals that we couldn’t find in the apartment. We would definitely return.

"Home from Home"

This year was our 7th year to stay at this apartment and we have also tentatively booked again for next year. Spending 2 months here was heaven and the Isabelle & Phil's apartment was just great. The location is fantastic, it is practically on the beach. There is a lovely promenade for a walk with numerous restaurants for you to select. Everything was on the doorstep, the supermarket, gym, taxi rank, hairdresser, beauty salon and internet cafe. When we wanted to go to Puerto Banus we availed of the catamaran which on a good warm day is a lovely trip. It is also a short taxi ride away. Isabelle & Phil are great hosts and have put a lot of thought into supplying books, CD's & DVD's so one is never bored. We are so looking forward to returning and are delighted that we found this apartment which provides all we need and more.

"Great!"

Everything you need for an excellent holiday by the sea. Perfect location, beautiful views, great apartment with all the essentials and more. Loved it and tried to book again for this year but our dates weren't available so get in quickly. Highly recommended.
