Whether it's the beach, golf, hiking, exploring and discovering, or just good old fashioned R & R, it is all on your doorstep. Where else can you downhill ski or snowboard (Sierra Nevada mountains), and kite surf/windsurf (Tarifa, in the Costa de la Luz) all within the same weekend!
The beautiful inland white villages such as Mijas and Ronda offer a delightful alternate experience to the hustle and bustle of the coast, and are well worth the journey for their unrivaled views of the surrounding countryside.

A big thank you to Rebecca for having us back a second time in 6 months! And i dont think it will be our last time either! My husband and i honeymooned here in September 2012 and decided there would be nowhere better to come to celebrate my 30th birthday with friends. The house is stunning and very personal - nowhere near the souless places i have visited before- this is a well loved home. Its also a small touch but lovely to be welcomed with fresh flowers and a bottle of fizz! I have nothing bad to say about the house - the location is quiet and serene and you will feel at peace on the hammoc in the lovely cool garden or on the heat of the roof terrace with spectaculor views to sea and mountains. You definately need a car when here unless you are happy to get taxis around.its a 35 minute walk down to the beach and there are areas without pathements and its a good hour walk back up the hill. Definately take a trip to ronda when you visit - its stunning. Looking forward to coming back again.

"One month of tranquillity!"
While planning an extended 4 week break in August, we were drawn to Daniel and Rebecca's house initially because of the positive reviews and the position on Marbella's high-end residential estate, Sierra Blanca. With some promptly answered emails by Rebecca, we were soon convinced. The holiday is now - unfortunately - over, but I'm glad to report that we were not disappointed with our decision to stay there! The house is set back in the Sierra Blanca residential estate within a beautiful little complex of houses where the residents are a mixture of local Spanish and Expats. We'd definitely recommend hiring a car, as the hill is a bit of walk in the heat and tricky after dark. We only did that once! (It’s a five mins and 6 euros in a taxi back home.) So, if you're looking for peace and tranquillity, and a desire to be away, but not too far from the main Marbella strip, it's a perfect location. The house itself is spacious, comfortable, clean and well-equipped... Sky TV, WiFi etc. We felt instantly at home. The garden is particularly pretty with an avocado tree with a hammock underneath. From the garden you can access the roof terrace via a spiral staircase, which has incredible views of the mountains and the coast. There is a shower up there to cool down. We just missed the pool being finished, but next time, we’ll be able to enjoy that too. There are three outside areas to the house and we had a little routine for each; Breakfast on the front terrace, dinner in the back garden, sometimes on the Barbie, and sunbathing on the roof terrace. One morning, whilst we were having our breakfast on the front terrace, we were joined by what looked like a woodpecker in the pine trees we overlooked! We travelled alone as a couple, but the house is ideal for a family. Particular now that the pool is completed. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and will very likely be back in the not-too-distant future! Couldn't possibly give it any less than a full five stars as it ticked every box for us.
So absolutely pleased that our guests were as enchanted with our house as we are! Couldn't have asked for a better review. Thank you!

"a very special jewel"
After one week of sightseeing thourout Andalusia we - a family with 23 year old daughter - definatly needed a rest - and this location was much more than this. It was not quite easy to find, but that is always like it when you are searching a "hidden gem". We were heartly welcomed and found the casa blanca (white house ,o)) in a quiet, very nice urbanisation full of flowers and plants - such as the avocado tree in "our" patio. From the street you have to go up some easy going stairs to the house, which is secured by an alarm system. And when the door opens for the first time you really have to like it. There is much light coming through the glasdoors, you can open towards the patio and the front window. You just have to lay down in the maroccian bed or enjoy the hammock outside under the avocado tree. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, everything is clean, fresh and you feel home at once. The bedrooms are in the first floor, also very friendly furnished and with good matresses. There were also towels for the bathroom provided and a hairdryer. But do not forget to bring your own beach-towels!. The master-bedroom ist equipped with A/C and fan and the other bedroom with a fan. There is enough space for your clothes. There is a nice roof -top where you can lay down, take a shower or eat and watch the surrounding - on one side the mountains on the other side between the vegetation - the sea. We never used it but there is also a TV with sky and DVD-Player and some DVD's to watch and last but not least - which was very important for our daughter - a WLAN - to chat with friends....;0)) If you like to stay there you def. need a car, because it is a little bit "outside" - but that is exactly what makes it special. So if your are looking for loud party next door this is not your location. But with a car nice places in Marbella are reachable in 5 - 10 minutes drive. We all would def. love to come back!
Lovely people, and we hope to find more just like you in the future. Thank you!

"Charming House, Beautiful Location & Great Hosts"
This beautiful house at the foot of the Sierra Blanca mountains is the perfect place to relax and to explore this part of Spain. The 'urbanisation' is just far enough from Marbella itself to be very peaceful and quiet, but close enough to walk into town for restaurants and bars. The house itself is delightful. Plenty of space, lots of comfy places to sit and read both inside and out. My wife and I just wanted to do nothing all week and chill and this was the perfect place! The urbanisation is really lovely too. Feels more like somewhere people live rather than a contrived, soul-less holiday apartment block. It's immaculately kept with some interesting trees and plants. There's a particularly spectacular cactus just by the front door! The roof terrace is fabulous with panoramic views of the sea and a dramatic mountain backdrop. The owners of the house were very helpful and accommodating throughout the booking process and also during our stay. We were personally met and shown around on arrival, the house was spotlessly clean. Rebecca had put fresh flowers out and left a bottle of bubbly in the fridge which was greatly appreciated! Really can't recommend highly enough. My wife wants to add her $0.02! It was nice that all the basic necessities were provided (salt, pepper, olive oil, kitchen roll, washing up liquid etc.) These are very often overlooked in holiday lets in our experience and its a drag having to go out straightaway and buy them all!!
Thank you for your kind words, and I'm glad that the little touches like flowers, cava and necessities in the cupboards were enjoyed and appreciated. You are welcome back anytime!

"Lovely house, one of the most relaxing holidays we've had"
We loved this house. The setting is in a small complex of villas which was quiet and has the bonus of being on the edge of the complex so is very private. The house itself is spacious- especially the bedrooms- and very comfortable. The decor and cleanliness are spotless. The appliances, dishwasher & washing machine, are brand new and the very thoughtful extra touches made a lovely, welcoming place to arrive to- e.g. a poinsettia on the table as we stayed over Christmas, plenty of candles, a bowl of freshly picked fruit, including delicious avocadoes from the tree in the garden. Rebecca had also left some toys, DVDs and books (including beloved Julia Donaldson ones which duplicated ones left behind at home) which made the children feel at home immediately. The external areas are also lovely, with lots of quiet places to go and read a book with a glass of wine. Leaving the children with the husband, putting the stairgate on the external staircase and disappearing up to the roof terrace to read a magazine was one of my lasting memories. The roof terrace was magical at night, with the Moroccan lamps and tealights lit. My husband had one criticism of the roof- being South African he felt the place was crying out for a built-in BBQ!! We didn't try to walk into town as we'd hired a car so used that. The villa is perfectly placed for visiting Ronda and the mountain villages. Gibraltar is within easy reach for a day trip- tip, don't drive in, leave the car at La Linea in the underground car park and walk through the border- when we left at 4pm the queues of cars were miles long and we were grateful to get through quickly on foot. More locally, Marbella's beaches have great climbing frames for the children so they were never bored. Rebecca had already given me some help on email in finding child-friendly activities too so we were well prepared. We would love to return to Marbella and would definitely book Casa Blanca again. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.
We're so glad that you all enjoyed yourselves, and pleased that we were able to help with the entertaining of the kids too! It can be very difficult trying to bring along all that you would need from home, so I'm happy that we could help in our own little way. Thank you again for your very kind words!

What a stunning venue. The vendor was there to meet us even though it was quite late when we arrived. The place itself is amazing. Clean, comfortable & a real home feel to it. If you want to feel the heat the roof terrace is beautiful with the outdoor shower or just to have a meal but if you need the shade I took many naps in the hammock under the avacado tree. Only slight warning is that there is a strecth of road about 100m where there is no pathway leading up, otherwise its a 20 min walk into marbella or a 3 minute taxi ride at about €6. Loved our stay, thanks in no small part to this beautiful villa
Thank you, and so glad you enjoyed yourselves!

"Beautiful villa overlooking Marbella and the Med"
As soon as we arrived we were met by the owner, Rebecca, who showed us around and made us feel very much at home. The villa is spacious, spotless and has lots of outdoor areas. There are plenty of options for dining al fresco, the bbq area, the terrace and of course the rooftop terrace with the most lovely views of the sea and mountains. We would recommend renting a car. We walked to Marbella and Urbanización de la Virginia (which is well worth a visit, Rebecca gave us that tip!), the return journey is uphill and the path stops en route so not the safest at night, it was also 40C+ degrees during the day so air conditioning in the car was nice! Overall we had a really relaxing holiday mainly due to the accommodation and the surroundings of the Urbanización which are immaculately kept. The villa for us really made the holiday, we spent most evenings on the rooftop terrrace listening to the owls and gazing at the stars. We hope to return again someday.
Thank you for your lovely comments, and we would be very happy to have you return again one day!
