The Villa is located in the stunning new development at Santa Clara Golf. The golf course, designed by Enrique Canales Busquets, has been integrated into the natural environment preserving indigenous wildlife and vegetation. Along its eighteen holes, a par 71 of 5,878 meters, you will enjoy an incredible course that presents a technically challenging but straightforward and pleasant round. The fairways are wide with few roughs and the greens are open and flat. The course is highlighted by the “Santa Clara Corner” formed by the 12th, 13th and 14th holes, a perfect combination of pars 4, 3 and 5, which requires the golfer to make long and accurate shots. The clubhouse offers lovely views of the sea overlooking the practice course and the starting and finishing holes.
There is a restaurant on the first floor where you can dine on authentic Mediterranean cuisine with a large terrace

Marbella's amazing micro-climate
Positioned between the beach and the Sierra Blanca mountain range behind it, Marbella enjoys an unusually pleasant micro-climate. Winds may be buffeting the Straits of Gibraltar just across the bay, flattening the waves in Fuengirola just up the coast, blowing spray onto the Paseo Maritimo of Estepona just down the coast but the day will be calm and pleasant in Marbella. A mild temperature throughout he year, shorts and hats for summer and generally a light jersey will do fine for many days in winter.
Weather records show that the average temperature is 19º C and the sun shines for 320 days a year with only 45 days of rain. Rains fall on some winter days from November through to March. Given the closeness of Marbella to the deserts of Africa just across the Mediterranean, residents value every day of rain however unseasonable it may be!
The Andalucia region
Marbella is the original Costa del Sol rersort. Mention the name Marbella and it usually conjures up images of plush hotels, casinos, multi-million dollar yachts and Ferraris. But today Marbella is not exclusively for the jet-set. Being only 30 minutes drive to the west of Malaga airport and with the recent increase in airlines providing cheap flights, the resort is within very easy reach for most people and has become a popular destination for hundreds of
thousands of holidaymakers each year. Exploring the back streets of Old Marbella will reveal stately buildings that date back to the 16th century, along with small traditional shops, cafes and galleries and fine restaurants hidden away in winding streets giving a traditional Spanish feel and atmosphere - a far cry from the modern Marbella just a stone's throw away that most people only know about and see.
Throughout the old town, small plazas lined with local bars and orange trees add to the traditional feel and are a great place to take a break and soak up the atmosphere before heading back to modern day life. To escape the hustle and bustle further, the Sierra Bermeja Mountains rise up behind the resort and are ideal for exploring by 4x4 or on foot; plenty of viewpoints provide opportunities to see the two and a half mile coastal spread that is Marbella.
Located just west of Marbella is Puerto Banus. This is the place to be pampered yachtside and ogle those fabulous luxury yachts while sipping a drink at one of the many open air restaurants and bars. The setting is close to ideal, with its impressive mountain backdrop and ocean views. Since its inception some forty years ago, the port has steadily grown and now features a casino, commercial shopping centre, a Corte Ingles department store, marine observatory and a multi cinema with films shown with their original soundtrack.
Nightlife buzzes at Puerto Banus with your choice of alfresco bars, piano clubs and discos while during the day this is a window shopper´s dream with several of the world renowned fashions houses featured here, in addition to small, interesting shops and boutiques. The beach adjacent to Puerto Banus holds a European blue flag. Every Saturday morning at Puerto Banus by the bullring is a very popular street market where you can pick up all sorts of bargains
