El Mirador is situated in a private gated resort near the village of La Mairena which is less than a 10 minute drive from Elviria and its soft sandy beaches, including the famous Nikki Beach club and 5 star Don Carlos hotel complex. Elviria, is a popular area of east Marbella and has many bars, restaurants, clubs, shops, supermarkets and banks. The apartment itself is in a quiet and peaceful location yet under 25 minutes from the glamour of central Marbella and its Old Town and a few minutes more to Puerto Banus with its world famous marina, designer shops and nightlife.
El Mirador has easy access to all the free amenities on the resort including the golf course, tennis courts, paddle tennis, swimming pools, restaurant, bar, gym and spa facilities. The 6 pools all have separate children's' pools which together with the play area, make this an ideal holiday for families with children.
Golfers will also appreciate the free on-site golf course, putting green and pro shop which together with the proximity of over 20 championship golf courses, including the 54 hole La Cala Resort and the 18 hole Santa Maria course, both only 10 minutes away, makes this a perfect golf holiday base. There are also 2 driving ranges within 10 minutes, one of them being floodlit.
The 2 spacious bedrooms each has a super king size double bed that can be set up as 2 single beds if required. Additionally, in the living room is a very comfortable sofa bed that sleeps 2. A cot and highchair are available at a small extra charge.
The living room has 2 comfy sofas seating 6 and is equipped with a 40 inch LED screen TV, satellite TV, DVD, CD, IPod docking station, radio and Wi-Fi connection. There is also a dining area with a table seating 6.
Leading from the living room is a spacious terrace with stunning views over the gardens towards the sea and mountains. Furnished with a large sofa and 2 armchairs, and a table and chairs, this is ideal for dining al fresco or just relaxing with a glass of wine enjoying the sun and the views.
The apartment is baby and toddler friendly and equipped with a high chair, cot, baby walker (small extra charge) and no dangerous stairs. Push chairs, baby monitoring systems and any other equipment is available to hire to reduce the amount of luggage you need to bring with you.

Our guests have told us that the best parts of a holiday at El Mirador are the tranquil location, the fabulous views and the luxurious accommodation. No expense has been spared on furnishing the apartment to the highest standards, from the cream marble floors, granite and marble worktops to the state of the art entertainment systems.
The quality furniture and furnishings have a moorish influence which mirrors the architecture of the apartments and of traditional Andalucian villages.
The apartment sleeps 4 people in 2 king sized double beds that can be converted into 2 singles if required.
In the living room is a large sofa that converts to comfortable double beds with proper mattresses, so 2 more people could be accommodated in that room if they don't mind sharing. A single fold-up bed is also available.
A cot, high chair, push chair and baby walker are available if required (small extra charges apply). Large beach towels also available. This enables you to leave bulky equipment at home and reduce the amount of luggage you take.
There are book, DVD and CD libraries. board and beach games for guests to use.

*The large terrace has open and covered areas so you can choose whether to sit in the sun or shade. There is seating for 6 on comfortable sofas or at the table for dining al fresco. A barbeque is also available.
*The apartment is on the first floor but has level access from the road and has a lift with direct access from the basement car park to the front door.
*Secure parking is available with a designated space in the underground car park which is protected by an electrically operated door with remote control. There is a lift from the car park to the apartment. More parking is available in outdoor spaces.
*The resort is gated with access via swipe card or key for owners and guests only. Guests are free to use the 30 acres of beautiful sub tropical gardens that surround the apartment.
*Guests can use the free on-site golf course and pro shop, 6 pools, gym, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, tennis and paddle tennis courts, clubhouse and restaurant.

The Andalucia region
El Mirador is situated on the Costa del Sol in the Andalucia region of southern Spain. It is in the village of La Mairena, a short drive from Elviria, with its soft sandy beaches. Elviria is an upmarket suburb of Marbella and has many bars, restaurants and some clubs as well as the usual range of supermarkets, banks, chemists and other shops. It also has the world famous Nikki Beach resort at the 5 star Don Carlos hotel. Elviria is 6 miles (10km) east of central Marbella and 35 minutes west of Malaga airport.
Marbella, which has grown from a small whitewashed fishing village, is nowadays one of the most cosmopolitan places in southern Europe. Its historical old town has a Moorish flavour with narrow streets and tree-filled squares that are decorated with flowers and with the scent of orange blossom. The magnificent climate boasts the greatest number of sunshine hours in Europe. This, combined with the soft sandy beaches bathed by the Mediterranean, the beautiful marinas, the exclusive shops, amazing amount of golf and leisure activities, make it a unique place for a short break or long holiday.
El Mirador itself is set in the hills above Elviria in an area of outstanding natural beauty amongst evergreen cork oak groves. The apartment is reached along a picturesque road that meanders up into the hills above Elviria, and has a large terrace with panoramic views over the landscaped gardens towards the Sierra de Mijas mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. On clear days you can see as far as the snow-capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada to the North and to Gibraltar and Morocco to the South from the complex.
It is an ideal base for exploring the inland delights of Andalucia with its Moorish influenced white villages or pueblos blancos, such as Mijas, Istan, Ojen and Casares.
Granada, Seville, Cordoba and Ronda are also definitely worth visiting. Gibraltar is a great day trip and it is possible to make the short hop over to North Africa by ferry or hydrofoil to Morocco.
The beauty of El Mirador is its perfect location on the Costa del Sol, so close to everything but where you can relax in beautiful tranquil surroundings with stunning sea and mountain views, with the beaches and attractions of the coast just a 10 minute drive.
Marbella has a lovely old town with narrow streets and squares filled with the scent of orange blossom jacaranda and jasmine. It also has a marina, sandy beaches and plenty of designer shops and boutiques.
Puerto Banus is the place to go for the glamour of the shops, the night clubs, the fabulous yachts and boats in the marina and the Ferarris and Lamborghinis cruising the streets.

"Best in Andalucia"

We are pleased with another 5 star review from our guests. We try hard to ensure the apartment is spotlessly clean and well equipped and furnished. The location is ideal for a peaceful holiday yet within easy reach of Marbella and the other attractions of Andalucia.

"Everything you need and more for a perfect holiday"
I have just returned from the most wonderful holiday at El Mirador,The coast road from Malaga airport is a great road to travel upon the views are superb,it is a very straight forward journey to the apartment.When you turn off the A7 at Elvira as instructed it gets even better as you drive up and along the mountain side toward the apartment,you may have to stop to take it all in!On arrival at the complex you will immediately notice how clean and well maintained the area is,it is a beautiful place and also very secure.My mother is disabled with limited mobility but had no problems here,the apartment entrance is on the road level with a secured entrance very close to building.There are also lifts and steps down to what ever pool to choose to use.Toilet facilities poolside.
From the moment you unlock the front door you will know your in for a great holiday,everything you need is there and more,beautiful decor and furniture,it is so well equipped and spotless,and the views are spectacular,Sunrise in the mornings a must!The facilities are great at the clubhouse and the staff very polite,its worth reading the literature in the apartment regarding the area,there is so many great places to go and lovely beaches which are so easy to access from this location,Gibraltar was just under an hours drive and a great day,Marbella old town,puerto banus,are great but park under ground,rates are good and safer for your hire car.
My personal favorite was the beach of Elvira,which is the local beach and at the bottom of the road,parking is so organised and the beach is unbelievable,you could walk in either direction for as long as you chose,the bar and toilet facilities are excellent.The food is also good,we actually chose to eat at the apartment nearly every night on the BBQ as the view and environment was just so relaxing and venturing out during the day,the local food is great and in Mercadona and Lidl very cheap.All in all we had a great time ,with the facilities,luxury and location we couldn't have hoped for more.
Small tip on car hire,i do not use a credit card,i prebooked with Avis at first through BA, but they wouldn't except debit/cash then changed to malagacarpeople.com(they run the car parking on site so i was told),they were great we were collected at the airport and taken to the car on return met with a trolley for our cases and deposit returned.No problems.
It is feedback like this that makes letting out our apartment really worthwhile. We love it there and are happy to share the sun, views and tranquility with others. We are pleased our guests also love it.

"The best holiday apartment i've ever stayed in - can't wait to return!"
We stayed at El Mirador in the summer and were initially
attracted to book by the photos of the interior and the views. When we got
there we were not disappointed and if anything it was better than the
photos. The views were fantastic and the apartment luxurious. The complex
had lots to do - tennis, gym, sauna, jacuzzi and a nice bar/restaurant
overlooking the golf course. It was good to get away from the busy centre
of Marbella and chill out in the hills. We also liked the sandy beach and
also the Nikki Beach club which was 5 minutes or so drive from the
apartment. I'd recommend Nikki Beach as a must for when you stay. The atmosphere is fantastic and so are the cocktails! We used a local taxi firm to take us into Puerto Banus on a couple of occasions for nights out and this was really easy and cheap too.
We are really pleased our guests enjoyed our apartment. We spent a lot of time furnishing it to a luxurious standard and we chose the location for the views and the fact it was only a few minutes from the sandy beach. We look forward to to welcoming our guests back again.

"Excellent holiday apartments"
Rented apartments for 9 days with friends. Were completely satisfied! The apartment has everything you need for quality rest. Everything as in the photographs.
Two things that are not liked:
1) there was no Internet and it can not buy in any store
2) The apartment is located a bit far from everywhere
With the first problem could handle only 500 meters from the apartments, a restaurant and there is WiFi. So if you're on holiday, forget about the internet and phone, just relax:)
When we arrived at the apartment, the problem number 2 is no longer a problem, the view from the window was very beautiful. So that 10 minute ride into the mountains ceased to be a problem.
Nothing to worry, the tenant was helpful. Rent, will be satisfied.
Wifi is available at the apartment and at the time this meant logging on to the local provider and setting up a temporary account. Feedback from guests has resulted in us installing a permanent free connection that guests can now use.
