A renovated typical summer Villa with beautiful views overlooking the Gulf of Policastro in one of the most beautiful spots along the wild Tyrrenean coastline of Basilicata. The house is on a promontory, a few minutes walk down a path to a beautiful small beach. Many other beaches are 3 to 20 min away by car along the coastline. Beaches are pebbly, sandy and/or rocky. Some have trees right down to the waterline. The two larger beaches of Acquafredda are a few min drive away and easy to access by car.

The main body of the villa includes 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a large living room ( extra folding sofa double bed here), a beautiful shaded patio with the dining area overlooking the garden; additional laundry bathroom and a hot water shower outside at garden level. Extra folding bed and baby cot available.

Maratea and the region of Basilicata are one of Italy's last travel frontiers. Maratea, is chosen by picky Italians as a less crowded and cheaper alternative to the overcrowded Coastine of Amalfi. The Gulf of Policastro between Campania in the north and Calabria in the south it is truly one of the most beautiful coastlines in Italy. Perfect both for romantic and for family holidays!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mirella (the owner) a message.

If Mirella (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
