The Costa Calida/Murcia region

The Costa Calida or warm coast offers a superb cimate, averaging temperatures of 21'C and over 310 days of sunshine. The Mar Menor region is unspoilt by mass tourism and has many local authentic Spanish towns where "fish & chips " and "full English breakfasts" are not found.
Los Alcazaries is the nearest seaside town. It sits on the shores of the Mar Menor with its long safe and sandy beaches and nature reserve.
The cosmopolitan town of Murcia is 35 mins by car. It boasts a beautiful Cathedral and many fashionable shops and eating places.
Near to murcia is the Sierra Espuna, a mountainous National Park, offering excellent walking and breath-taking views.

Mar Menor Golf Resort area

Mar Menor Golf Resort is a luxury 5* resort consisting of 2,3 and 4 bed villas built round the Jack Nickluas designed golf course. The recreational centre has a lively piano bar, large pool complex serving snacks, bank, gym, tennis court, beautician and hairdresser. There is a gourmet restaurant in the centre and a very well stocked grocery shop.
There is also a pizza/burger delivery service on site and several local indian restaurants that speak English and deliver.
The 5* Intercontinental Hotel and Spa is now completed and offers two further restaurants and several bars.

How to get there

The resort is a very simple 10 min drive from Murcia airport and a 45 min drive from Alicante.
Murcia is a small airport which has seen a large increase in budget airlines as the Costa Calida becomes a popular holiday destination. Ryan Air, Easy Jet and Jet2 all fly to Murcia.
Polaris offer car hire either at the airport or on site.

The interior is thoughtfully furnished with many extras. There is a large flat screen TV in the lounge with all Uk channels, Sky sports and movies. A DVD/video , PS2 and complete music system are provided, together with several DVDs and games.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for easy self catering, including a grilling machine and electric juicer.
The utility room has an automatic washing machine, tumble dryer and combi boiler for instant hot water and heating.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and en suite bathroom. A combination safe is located in the wardrobe for added security.
Bedroom 1 has twin beds and a TV/DVD bedroom 2 has two single beds
All bedrooms have built in wardrobes with loads of coat hangers and excellent storage.
The villa has airconditioning in ALL rooms and is fully centrally heated.

The villa is one of the very few to have a large HEATED pool - a must if you want to swim between the months of Oct-April.The garden is completely screened with sunloungers and a patio area. The dining patio has a large table and 6 chairs , together with a gas BBQ, for easy outdoor entertaining.
Upstairs there is a large sun terrace - a perfect place to relax and sunbathe.
The owners bicycles are available on request - as the resort is quite large and flat this is a great way to get about.

A returnable deposit of £200 is required to secure your booking. This will be sent back within 21 days of your return provided all keys are returned and the inventory check is complete.
The full rental amont is due 8 weeks prior to departure.
The changeover fee of 80 Euros is payable locally. Mid stay clean can be arranged at small extra cost.
Pool heating is available at an optional, additional cost of £60 per week
Villa available for short rents - price on request. Return guests 10% discount
