Water parks and zoo's within 30 minutes drive, good entertainment both on the resort and in the local area. Mar Menor has a newly opened 18 hole golf course designed by Jack Nicholaus. There are also severel high quality golf courses within 30 minutes drive in particular the "Jack Nicholaus trail" courses between all the Polaris resorts.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The area is reported to have over 330 days of sunshine per year. Mar Menor golf resort is situated close to the glorious beaches of the Mar Menor and the Costa Calida (known as the warm coast) and they are just 5km away by car.
The beaches overlook the La Manga strip.
The beautiful fishing village of Cabo de Palos is just down the coast.
Mar Menor Golf Resort / Polaris World nr Los Alcazares area
Murcia, the historic capital is well worth a visit and just 25 mins away by car.
Cartagena 20km is a Roman city with a beautiful lively port with cafe bars and restaurants.
Los Alcazares only 5 km away has a wide range of restaurants and bars and you will need to be "seen" at night walking the strip by the sea.
Water parks and zoo's are within 30 minutes drive towards Torrevieja and Murcia
How to get there
The resort is less than 15 minutes from Murcia (San Javier) airport, or Alicante 55 mins. Flights can be booked through many airlines, Jet2, Easyjet, Ryanair, Bmibaby, to name a few. A car is recommended, however it is approximately 18 euros by taxi from the airport to the villa.
