Villa Romar has 3 Beds and 3 Bathrooms with 2 terraces and a lovely garden for al fresco living. It is in the region of Spain noted for its warm summers and mild winters. So the villa is equipped with air conditioning and central heating for those hot or cooler days. The villa has a perfect south west aspect, so has the sun all day with a garden that has shady spots.
The latest addition is the downstairs terrace is now fully glazed with large sliding doors, so no matter what the weather you can have a much enlarged living area and more space to enjoy the relaxing lifestyle of the Resort.
The Mar Menor Golf Resort is a gated community that has all you need for that perfect holiday. A Village Centre with shops, supermarket, bank/ATM, bars, restaurants, social centre and gym. The 9 hole golf course will soon be extended to 18, courtesy of Jack Nicklaus! There is a driving range and putting green. If not a golfer, try the tennis or just enjoy the fountains, walks and mountains in the background and just chill.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The Mar Menor area is renowned as the healthiest place in Europe. It has a micro climate the gives it warm winters and hot summers. It generally boast over 315 days per year sunshine! It is also known as the garden of Spain and many of the fruit and vegetables in Tesco and Sainsburys come from Murcia.
As well has having the inland sea - Mar Menor - the Med and its beaches are on your doorstep. The cities of Murcia and Cartegena are full of character and culture and the Sierra monutains are not far away.
The area is also known for its great food, especially sea food and there is a range of restaurants to suit all tastes.
Mar Menor Golf Resort area
The Mar Menor Golf Resort is the first of Polarisworld's 5* Golf and holiday resorts in the Murcia region. The whole resort is set in landscaped gardens with wide streets, footpaths and sitting areas with fountains. At the centre of the Resort is the Social Club with a very large pool and children's pool which is open to all owners and rentors on site. It also has a bar, restaurant, bank, supermarket and other shops.
In the spring of 2006 the 5* Intercontinental Hotel will be completed and this will add a whole new range of facilities.
Mar Menor Resort has its own 9 hole course and there are as many golf courses as you could play in 2 weeks within a 20 km radius and more planned. There is a driving range and practice putting green.
The Mar Menor - The Inland Sea - has an extensive range of watersports available as well as biking; walking; horse riding; tennis or just great beaches to relax on.
Alicante is just about an hour away with theme and water parks. The region is perfect for any kind of holiday.
How to get there
Murcia - San Javier is the nearest airport to our villa, only 10 minutes drive. All the main airlines BA; Easy Jet; RyanAir; Jet2; FlyBE and other charters now fly to Murcia. It can get busy in the main summer season. Alicante airport is an easy drive, just under the hour.
We can offer a pick up service from the airport or can recommend a number of car hire firms,
A taxi costs about 25 Euros and San Javier is served by a good bus service from all over Europe.

Further details indoors: The main bedroom is en suite, with a kingsize double bed. The other 2 bedrooms which have 2 single beds each share the second bathroom/WC, and there is one shower room and WC downstairs.
The beds are of an excellent quality and there is ample bedding and linen provided.
The lounge has comfortable seating with a 70+ channel TV system which incorporates a DVD/VCR player as well as CD and radio. The children have a Play Station available (and adults!) there are books; DVDs; CDs. There is a cot and high chair for younger family members and a stairgate!
It has been fully equipped for permanent living, is comfortable and homely. The photos tell their own story.
Further details outdoors: The kidney shaped pool is set in an area which is fully fenced for child security as well as having a safety cover. It is a deep pool - 2m - and has full internal steps at the shallow end.
The garden is now well established with trees and plants and plenty of lawned area. The upstairs terrace has parasol table; chairs and sun beds and the same is available on the downstairs terrace and garden. The shed houses extras like a hammock; beach toys; beach equipment; buckets and spades; cool boxes etc.

Renters can have access to special rates for green fees on the golf course and have access to the social Centre with its large swimming pool and children's pool.
The villa pool is available all year but is not heated.
Conditions
We ask for a £150 security deposit which is refundable at the end of the rental. The telephone is available on a trust basis and the call costs are detailed.
We will always consider lower charges for rentals of just 2 people who want the space of a larger villa.
