About the home

This 4 Bedroom Villa is situated on the Mar Menor Golf Resort, on Costa Calida. It has one en suite bedroom with its own terrace to side of house with golf and Hotel views. 2 further bedrooms follow on this first floor with acommunal bathroom, and downstairs the fourth bedroom with toilet/shower room along side. A large lounge area with open plan kitchen, flatscreen TV, completes the property. Newly decorated with new modern furnishings, it has a great position on the 4th fairway of the golf course. All rooms are airconditioned and a safe is provided. A short walk takes you to the Hotel and Social centre area of which there are pictures in the gallery. With its own private pool, sunloungers and comfortable sofa and chairs alongside, this is a great Villa for a relaxing holiday. BBQ also provided.

This modern 4 bedroom Villa has been well equipped by the owners and redecorated throughout this summer. The Villa rooms are completed thus -

Livingroom - Large L Shaped sofa, flatscreen TV, DVD, CD unit, internal telephone

Kitchen - large openplan kitchen diner leads to livingroom area. Dishwasher, washing machine, tumbledryer, oven/hob, fridgefreezer, microwave, table and 6 chairs. Complete with cutlery glasses and crockery for 8. Ironingboard, iron and washline makes this a comfortable home from home

Twin Bedrooms - one downstairs and 2 upstairs dressed with twin beds, duvets, coverlettes for summer a lamp and bedside cabinet completes the rooms

Master en suite - large master bedroom with kingsize bed, dressing table and stool and bedside tables. Complete with private terrace leading off with golf views. Master bathroom, with bath, shower over and toilet makes this a self- enclosed area

Terrace - in addition to the master terrace, another terrace leads from the landing of the bedrooms upstairs

Private pool with views of the golf course 4th fairway. In addition a view of the Hotel, which is beautifully lit at night makes this a great holiday base.

Poolside, there are 6 sunloungers with comfortable covers. An easy sofa and 2 chairs with coffee table for evening drinks or a day time break from pool and sun. A large umbrella and stand are provided for shade.

The pool can be heated and has a cover for winter months

A dinig table and 6 chairs completes the terrace area and a BBQ is provided with the Villa

All towels, linen and beach towels are provided

A welcome pack can be provided on arrival either standard or big breakfast size, ideal for late arrivals

An information pack is provided upon rental payment receipt

Pool heating is available at an extra charge, and is advisable from November to May

Airport transfers can be arranged from Murcia and Alicante airport

Smoking is not allowed in the Villa for the comfort of futur guests and owners.

Conditions

A deposit of £200 is required on booking your dates, with the full rental payment being made 6 weeks before arrival.

Short stays are accepted but not of less than 3 days.

The Costa Calida region

The Region of Costa Calida is wellknown for its sunny warm climate for much of the year. The region has a unique saltwater lagoon right on the doorstep of the Resort, which can be enjoyed after a short 10min car journey. The beautiful promenade is dotted with cafes and bars, making this a great daytime or evening stop. Murcia and Cartagena are the nearest cities with attractions in both for shopping, history and walks. Water sports abound along the beach as well as boat trips, fishing excursions, sunbeds and refreshment

The Mar Menor Golf Resort / Polaris World nr Los Alcazares area

This resort has its own 18 hole championship course . The Hotel on site is Intercontinental, 5 Star and features a large pool, restaurants and bars. At the centre with restaurants and evening bars as well as a supermarket, none of the Villas are far from these facilities.
In summary Murcia city is 30 mins away and is full of theatres, Cathedral and restaurants and bars. Cartagena is similarly close by 15 mins away and is also full with things to do as well as a newly designed port area.

10 short minutes from San Javier airport or an hour to Alicante the resort is reached easily by car or indeed airport transfer for shorter stays

Los Alcazares is the local beach Resort located on a salt water lagoon, and has maintained its spanish character whilst accommodating the holiday groups well.

Nearby to the airport there are 2 shopping areas with restaurants and bars surrounding

The Resort itself has a 5 star Hotel, Intercontinental, and has restaurants and bars within its domain. An Irish theme bar has been added to the hotel premises. A Golf proshop, bar and a Spa completes the Hotel offerings. Book a great day or half day treatment and use the indoor heated pool. Or pay to use the outdoor pool which looks over the 18th hole.

There is also a supermarket , and bank and a new part of the resort built to accommodate the new 18 holes, has opened several bars and restaurants
Outside the resort Cartagena is the local City, with a mass of shops and also an old port, that still works today, which is 15 minutes away by car. You can enjoy boat trips from here as well as shopping with 2 areas, one within the town and a new mall style on the outside of the city.

Murcia City is a beautiful cathedral City, and has cosmopolitan shops, places of historical interest and many restaurants to savour. On the outskirts of the city a very large shopping area has been built to include many of the names you would know at home, IKEA, Toys R Us, Primark as well as spanish brands Eroski and the larger French owner Carrefour. Many more shops are available as well as traditional Spanish shops which are plentiful too for a different gift or a treat.

An excellent holiday home in a perfect location for a golfing or family holiday. We were met by your the agent, who quickly and efficiently settled us into the villa and we were on the first tee of the Mar Menor golf course in no time at all. We would not hesitate to recommend the villa to family and friends and will certainly use it again for our next golf trip.
