The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The Mar Menor Golf Resort It is a short drive from numerous golf courses including La Serena, Roda Golf, La Manga, Hacienda del Alamo, Mosa Trajectum, Hacienda Riquelme PEraleja Golf and El Valle, which are all with a 30 minute drive. The area is rapidly becoming a golfers delight.
The pretty beach town Los Alcazares is 10 minutes away and enjoys of 6Km of beach front promenade and sandy beaches. The town offers a variety of restaurant's, tapas bars and shops to choose from in a truly Spanish environment.
The cities of Murcia (30 mins) and Cartagena (15 mins) are stepped in history and well worth a visit. Murcia is renowned for it's many plazas, cafas and boutique shops whilst cartagena is a maritime city with a large port area and impressive old period town with many bars, restaurants and shops.
Mar Menor Golf Resort area
Within the resort is a fabulous Nicklaus golf course, driving range , putting green, golf shop, large supermarket, beauty/health store, a luxurious owners club with a beautiful swimming pool, a tennis court, internet stations and a fabulous 5* Intercontinental Hotel with a spa and various bars and restaurants.
How to get there
Most of the budget airlines fly to either Murcia (15 mins) or Alicante airports (60 mins) including and Ryanair, Easyjet, Jet2, Thomson, Monarch, Flyglobespan, Flybe and BMI baby.
We recommend Europa for carhire and would be happy to help arrange this for you. They have office at Murcia and Alicante airports and are very compettive on price.
