About the home
The Villa is located 10 minutes from the lovely beach at Los Alczares with it's marina and great tapas bars and restaurants. It has easy access to all amenities including the wonderful Sunday market at Cabo de Palos with it's fantastic fish restaurants with stunning sea views.
The villa benefits from its own private pool, a covered terrace leading out from the sitting room and also an upstairs roof terrace. It has two bedrooms, one double with en suite and one twin with separate fully tiled shower room.
The villa is fully air-conditioned. and the resort is very secure being on a gated complex with 24-hour security. We are just a minute's walk from the 1st tee!! There is internet access at the Hotel.

The Villa has been furnished in a very contemporary style with leather sofas and bright soft furnishings and a glass dining table and chairs with seating for four.
The kitchen is fully equipped and very functional.
The bedrooms are light and airy and the beds have very good quality mattresses for added comfort.

The garden is a lovely area with paving surrounding the pool and continuing to the covered terrace.
There are urns and pots in the pool area containing Mediterranean plants.
There is an outdoor dining table and chairs on the covered terrace, perfect for breakfast or a glass of wine with your dinner in the evening.

The Villa is looked after by an English lady who lives locally.
Conditions
Strictly no smoking in the property. A deposit of £100 is payable on booking and a damage deposit of £100 is payable by separate cheque along with the full balance and is refundable upon return of the keys and inspection of the property. The balance is due one month before the visit commences.
The Costa Calida region
The Costa Calida is graced with a great climate with sunshine and warm weather all year. It is known for its agriculture and a lot of the vegetables and tomatoes are grown here that end up in our supermarkets in the UK. making it a wonderful place to sample Spanish cuisine.
There are numerous places to visit, from beaches to the historic cities of the area, namely Cartagena. There really is something for everyone in the area and of course lots of golf. We are also three hours drive away from the Sierra Nevada for Skiing so could be combined with some winter sun.
The Mar Menor Golf Resort / Polaris World nr Los Alcazares area
Mar Menor Golf Resort offers a great place to stay for a holiday - be it for the golf on the Jack Nicklaus designed 9 hole golf course (shortly to be 18) or visiting the Espa Spa at the 5* Intercontinental Hotel for some pampering.
Everything is catered for including a very well stocked supermarket offering freshly baked bread and local wines, cash point, restaurants and bars.

" 28th June - 5th July 09 - Many thanks for a great holiday! We had a brilliant time, and the Villa was even better than we expected. The accommodation was very clean, and had everything we required. The pool was perfect for my 2 year old son to get used to arm bands, and for us to cool off after a hot day. We have stayed at Mar Menor previously, and the location of this Villa was the best we have had. Just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of the resort, and handy for the bars and the supermarket. We hired a car and went to the beach some days at Los Alcathares, which has restuarants/bars along the promonade, but always came back for an afternoon around our pool.
