It is just a two-minute walk from the resort's communal swimming pool (with kids’ pool and Jacuzzi area) and the resort’s supermarket, cash point and many restaurants and bars. Situated approximately 10 minutes' drive from the airport and the beach town of Los Alcazares, which offers many shops, bars, banks, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, the villa is approximately 20 minutes' drive from Murcia city.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The local area, Murcia, offers plenty of activities for villa holidays. The sandy beaches are ideal for watersports enthusiasts and local sports include fishing, sailing, diving, windsurfing, paragliding and swimming. Other activities included cycling, rollerblading and horse riding. Mar Menor's sandy beach is also ideal for families as the water is calm, warm and shallow and depths only reach 7m. Walking is also popular along the beach promenade. There are plenty of cafes, tapas bars, palm trees and restaurants found along the beachfront also.
Mar Menor Golf Resort / Polaris World nr Los Alcazares area
Mar Menor Golf Resort is a self-contained 'gated' resort with Mediterranean-style villas, townhouses and apartments. The resort offers the beautiful 5 star Intercontinental Hotel & Spa, along with a 9-hole golf course, leisure centre, communal swimming pool with kids’ pool and Jacuzzi area, tree-lined avenues and landscaped gardens, restaurants, bars, a snack bar, a small but well-stocked supermarket (selling international goods) tennis court, gym, cash point and health centre. The resort also offers 24-hour security and friendly English-speaking staff.
Beaches and waterparks 10 minute drive from the beach at Los Alcazares. 20 minute drive from La Manga Strip. Approx. 1 hour drive to Terra Mitica Theme Park in Benidorm and many other waterparks in the Alicante area including Aqualandia. Approx. 20 minute drive from Torrevieja Aquopolis (waterpark open between 8 June to 31 August).
Golf Guests have access to the resort's 9-hole golf course, designed by Jack Nicklaus. There are many other courses in the area including La Torre Golf Resorts (18-hole), El Valle Golf Resort (18-hole), Mosa Trajectum, Torre Pacheco, La Finca and Las Ramblas. La Manga Golf Resort is also approx. 20 minutes' drive.

Approx. 2 hour drive to Granada and the Alhambra Palace. Approx. 3.5 hour drive to Madrid. Approx. 45-50 minute drive to Alicante, well know for it's popular water and theme parks. Approx. 40 minute drive to Terra Natura (zoo and waterpark) outside Murcia. A local shopping complex called 'Dos Mares' with an enormous supermarket, many restaurants and a cinema is 20-minute drive away.

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. £650 a week for bookings falling over the Christmas and New Year period.
Booking notes £100 non refundable deposit, per week is required to hold the villa. Full payment should be made eight weeks before arrival. For all booking made outside of the UK, an additional £15 bank transfer fee will be charged. For all bookings a cleaning/laundry charge of £80 applies.
If you require the villa swimming pool to be heated there is an additional charge of £50 per week or £75 for two weeks.
Security deposit In addition, a separate £200 security deposit is required when booking. Please note: your security deposit is fully refundable, providing there is no damage during your stay.
Prices are for the villa per week in UK pounds. Prices are subject to change at the owner’s discretion.
Please note: Mar Menor is a 9-hole golf resort which is currently being extended to an 18-hole golf resort with additional apartments, there is building work outside the resort perimeter.
This is a frontline golf villa with protector nets for 'of course' golf balls, please take care while in the garden and on the outdoor terraces.
