This beautiful modern semi detached villa is furnished to a high quality and offers 2 bedrooms, a roof terrace with fantastic views, which is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a good book, or watch the kids playing in the secure garden below. The villa over looks the beautiful fountains opposite.
This lovely new villa is set on the fantastic Polaris World Mar Menor golf resort and furnished to the highest standards with superb quality furniture.
Relax and enjoy the sunshine and the private pool on this Five Star Luxury Golf Resort, in a luxurious well equipped villa. Mar Menor Golf Resort is the first of the Polaris resorts and the flag ship with a 9 hole golf course. There is a luxurious brand new Five Star Intercontinental Hotel and Spa on the resort, restaurants, bar and pool bar, supermarket, hair dresser and travel agent. The resort is very modern and up to date and an absolutely ideal place for a family holiday.
Guests come back for the holidays to this villa time after time. The resort is ideal by way of the fact that it is still small and quiet and yet has plenty of facilities to make it fun and enjoyable. You can be as hectic as you like with tennis, golf, gymnasium or just relax, sit by the pool, soak up the sunshine on the private roof terrace and have a massage at the Spa.
Golf, golf golf until you drop on the Polaris courses as there are now 4 to play and to choose from and a mini bus will collect you from the resort and take you to La Torre, El Valle or Hacienda del Requilme to enjoy an 18 hole course. From time to time Polaris offer a green fee and meal for €55 in their superb on resort restaurant, this is of course subject to availability, but if the offer is still "ON" at the time of your holiday we will be sure to book it for you.
The villa is lovely and light and airey. It has been beautifully furnished and has everthing you could need for the perfect holiday.
Mar Menor Golf resort is only 15 mins from the busy and bustling beach town of Los Alcazares, with its many bars and restaurants and excellent market on a Tuesday morning.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Nestling at the bottom of the Costa Blanca, the Costa Calida is one of the least well known and most unspoilt areas of Spain guaranteed to give you a taste of "real Spain".
With over 315 days of sunshine every year it is little wonder that the Costa Calida means warm coast the the unspoilt inland waters of the Mar Menor, the largest natural lagoon in Europe offers safe and warm water bathing all year round.
The area is best known for the La Manga Club resort, renowned for its three championship golf courses, LTA Tennis Centre Training Ground and being the training ground for visiting football teams from Spain, the UK and the whole of Europe.
The area has much to offer than just La Manga Club. There are 8 further golf courses of an excellent standard, and a further 10 under development in the area. If a golfing holiday is your ideal then this is the perfect place for you. Once you have enjoyed the 4 Polaris World courses you can try Roda Golf and Beach which is only 5 mins drive from the villa, or La Serena again 5 mins drive in the other direction. La Serena is a tricky course and take lots of spare balls as there are 16 holes with water. The Club house is excellent and they do a very welcome lunch after golf at a good price. Mosa Trajectum is a little further away, this has three 9 hole golf courses and so you can choose to play 18 holes or 27, plus there is a further Challenge Course. Finally Hacienda del Alamo, the furthest from the villa but if you are an enthusiastic golfer this is worth the effort. 18 holes of large open fairways, a truely excellent course, very well presented and maintained. Prices range for 55euros to 90euros for a Green Fee. (prices subject to change)
Murcia is more than just golf, it has a history that pre dates the Romans. If you are here in September then it is worth a visit to the Romanos y Catheginas festival. Every year in the third week of September the people of Cartagena reinact the Roman invasion, the battles, the marriages and the departures! This live history takes place every evening and all day Friday Saturday and Sunday there is a battle or a procession somewhere in the town. Then they pack up and go back to work for Monday morning. The costumes, the atmosphere, the noise it is really worthwhile seeing, especially bearing in mind that these are ordinary people from the towns and villages around Cartagena.
Murcia City is only 20 mins drive and steeped in history. Famous for its Moorish architecture and huge cathedral which exhibits an eclectic mix of ancient, old, georgian and modern architecture. The city has of course lots of wonderful shops and places to eat. Christmas time in Murcia is particularly special with the Christmas street lights and the palm trees decorated in fairy lights.
There is plenty of choice of beaches in Murcia along its 271km of coastline. From the villa the safe, shallow waters of the Mar Menor are the closest and easiest to find at the town of Los Alcazares. This is an excellent stretch of coastline, there are plenty of beach bars and cafes and the town centre with its excellent huge Tuesday market is a very short walk.
La Manga Strip ... the "sleeve" of land that runs from Cabo de Palos in the south to San Pedro in the north is 18km long and encloses the warm tranquil waters of the Mar Menor to the west and has the livelier colder Mediterranean to the east. The Strip is up to 1km wide in parts and in others is is merely 100m allowing only for the road to run through with a beach on either side. La Manga Strip is a town in its own right, albeit an long thin one! There are shopping centres, restaurants and bars set in plazas or squares. The marina at the Puerto Tomas Maestre is beautiful and houses some stunning boats and yachts that most of us can only dream of, but the restaurants are great and the atmosphere is wonderful.
Water sports ... well there could not be a better or safer place to learn to sail, jet ski or kite board. The area has a number of sailing schools with a wide range of boats and dinghies on which to learn to sail or to brush up your sailing skills. Diving is a popular sport and there are a number of different diving schools offering anything from the beginners course to night dives for the more expereinced diver. The dive around Isla Grosa, for example, takes around 1 hour and takes your through the magnificent quartz caves.
Murcia was founded in 831 and lies in the middle of the valley through which the River Segura flows. Murcia has the added attraction of “two seas” on one coastline; the Mediterranean with its endless beaches of white sand, crystal clear water, magnificent cliffs, lively ports and picturesque coves and the Mar Menor which was originally an open bay but is now a large costal lake of warm seawater measuring 170km.
The area has a magnificent climate and there are more than 3,000 hours of sun and even winter temperatures of an average of 18° C! A perfect location for swimming, fishing, sailing, water skiing and scuba diving, in fact virtually all watersports.
Mar Menor Golf Resort area
This new and exciting resort, constructed by Polaris World is situated barely 4kms from the warm waters of the Mar Menor, a 10 minute drive from San Javier, Murcia International airport and 60 minutes from Alicante airport. The centre of Murcia, capital of the province, is 30 minutes away and the ancient Roman and historic port of Cartagena is even closer. The villa is found within a secure area surrounding a nine hole golf course designed by Dave Thomas. A short walk from the villa you will discover the new 5 star hotel complex with spas, fitmess centre, supermarket and shops.
Los Alcazares is a great town to visit. It has a long sandy beach which is on the shallow and safe waters of the Mar Menor. The beach has a wide promenade which runs along its entire length and has numerous beach bars and restaurants. The town itself has numerous large supermarkets, there are quiet plazas to enjoy a coffee or sit out and enjoy a dinner in the evening. The Curry house - Hindustani - is certainly the best one that I have tried in the area. There is a great chinese restaurant part of the group RUN. There are numerous tapas and spanish restaurants, in particular try the 1920´s hotel on the beach and just behind the townhall for best tapas and a perfect location eating on the promenade, by the beach and looking out into Mar Menor.

Further details indoors: The villa offers a well fitted "galley" style kitchen with washing machine, microwave oven and hob. There is a large airy and spacious comfortable lounge/ diner leading out to a private patio and gardens front and rear. The lounge has two comfy sofas, TV, DVD and stereo so you can chill out after a round of golf or game of tennis.
The property has air conditioning in the lounge and has gas central heating for warm winter nights. The villa is in the most ideal location in the resort as the area is quiet and peaceful and away from the main roads, yet the Five Star Hotel and the resorts Sports and Leisure Centre is a 3 min or 400m walk away.
Beautifully presented, brand new and very light airy and spacious. Ideal for a family holiday with the surrounding facilities. Extremely child friendly (we have small children of our own so we know what is good and what is not!). This is a golfer´s paradise ... and the house is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a golf holiday.
Further details outdoors: To the rear there is an enclosed grass garden and a rear patio with doors from the dining room. Ideal for relaxing in the peace and quiet or Al Fresco dining. To the front is a car port and lawn area. Immediatley in front of the villa are a set of fountains in a paved area which are very pretty to look at.
The resort has an excellent and challenging 9 hole Golf Course, a driving range and practice putting green. The Five Star Luxury Intercontinental Spa Hotel on site has a couple of really great bars and coffee bars. The Pistachio bar has live music in the evenings over the weekends. There is a luxurious Spa for a fantastic day of relaxation and treatments.
The social centre has a fantastic restaurant and this is the place where you will find the community pool for the resort. Also in the Social centre is a flood light tennis court, a full gymnasium, Pinos Bar, Hairdresser, Travel Centre and the Resorts Supermarket.
The Mar Menor Golf Resort has been set up to rival La Manga Club for a fraction of the cost. You have probably already seen Polaris World (the developers) huge advertising campaign on UK television, it really does look like that ... the villas are brightly coloured and situated in their own gardens. The resort has attractive community areas with fountains and park areas. The new rather strangely named "Social Centre" is more of a lesuire centre with the Resorts main swimming pool complex. Around this there are a couple of bar areas, one open air the other indoor with big screen TV, a very nice and stylish restaurant ... with the most delicious smells coming from the kitchens. The centre has a Fitness suit, you can have a massage there, use the gym and there is a flood lit tennis court.
On the shopping front there is a small supermarket and a couple of little shops and a cash point. There is a hairdressers and medical centre on site. The brand new 60 bedroom Five Star Intercontinental Hotel opened in January and provides the height of luxury and that Five Start Resort feel but without the prices.
Further details
Small private rear garden is flat, lawned and safe for children. It has a wall to the rear so there is less opportunity for them to escape!
