This attractive, well equipped detached villa is located in the fabulous 5 star Mar Menor Golf Resort only 5 minutes drive from the sandy and safe Blue Flag beaches of Los Alcázares on the Mar Menor. The property is second line to the golf & has nice views to the golf course from the spacious roof terrace. It is only a few minutes walk to the luxurious 5 star Intercontinental Hotel with its gourmet restaurants and spa centre & to the Social Club House where the beautifully designed communal pool, children's pool & jacuzzi are located. The Social Club also houses a gym and roof top tennis courts for the energetic, as well as a high class restaurant, Pino's Bar offering frequent live entertainment, a hairdresser's salon and a well stocked supermarket among other facilities. The property consists of living / dining room, 2 bedrooms, 1 en-suite bathroom and 1 shower-room. For relaxing, there is a grassed garden area and a large roof terrace with sun loungers.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Literally named the “warm coast”, the Costa Cálida area of Spain enjoys excellent weather all year round, with warm winters, hot summers and almost guaranteed sunshine (over 315 sunny days a year!). Here you can experience the waters not only of the Mediterranean but also of the Mar Menor, a unique sea lagoon famed for the therapeutic effects of its waters and a paradise for both sun worshippers and water sports enthusiasts. Beaches are both sandy and safe, making the Mar Menor ideal for young children. Inland Murcia offers spectacular mountain scenery and romantic towns with castles set in the hillside, yet is still easily accessible via motorway. The historic cities of Cartagena (15 minutes by car) and Murcia (30 minutes by car) are also worth exploring, both offering a large variety of cultural activities, as well as many shopping possibilities!
Mar Menor Golf Resort / Polaris World nr Los Alcazares area
The Mar Menor Golf Resort is the first of Polaris Wolrd's luxury golf resorts in Murcia and is specifically designed to offer relaxing holidays with all facilities (restaurants, bars with live music, supermarket, golf, spa, communal pool, sports facilities etc.) on site. The resort is characterised by landscaped gardens with wide streets, fountain areas, and 24 hour security. You can also enjoy the facilities of the 2 other Polaris Resorts now open, La Torre and El Valle Resorts, and a free shuttle bus service operates between these resorts and the Mar Menor Golf Resort. Los Alcázares is 5 minutes drive away, with its wide sandy beaches and beautiful marine promenade. This is a cosmpolitan town with a varied selection of shops and restaurants and busy street markets on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Apart from golf, beaches and water sports, you can also enjoy boat trips on the Mar Menor, visit one of the water parks in Torrevieja and in Murcia (both apporx. 30 minutes drive), or take advantage of the flat terrain around the Mar Menor to go on a not-too-strenuous cycling trip!
How to get there
By Plane - Murcia (San Javier) airport is 10 minutes drive from the resort and is used by a wide range of low cost flight operators such as Ryanair, Monarch, Jet2, Flyglobespan, BMIbaby & Flybe. For an even wider selection, Alicante airport is 60 minutes drive by motorway. Rental cars from the airport and airport pick ups can be arranged if required. By Motorway - The Resort is also well communicated as the connection to the Mediterranean coastal motorway from France is only 5 minutes distant. By Rail - The nearest railway station is in Torre Pacheco, 10 minutes away.

The owner's weekend rates apply to: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights
NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. If you are arriving late and would like a "welcome pack" of essential food items, that can be arranged at cost price + 5 €. A "meet and greet" serivce is also available at Murcia airport if required, at a cost of 20 €. Cleaning is included in the price and payment can be either in sterling or in euros, the deposit to be paid on booking and the remainder on arrival at the property.
