Our Villa is Furnished to a Very High Standard with everything you require whilst on your holiday. It has a fully enclosed South Facing rear garden with Private Swimming Pool where the sun shines from early morning till late evening. Dining table and chairs on both front and back terraces are provided for your morning and evening enjoyment. Sunloungers are also provided for you to laze about on in the sun by the pool. Upstairs to the rear of the villa there is a fully furnished terrace also with sunloungers for you to enjoy a nice relaxing break away from everyone!! Suitable for both Families and Golfers.
The Resort offers an 18-Hole Golf Course, Communal pools (seasonal), racket courts, bars, restaurants, supermarket, bank and ATM. At the heart of the resort is the 5* Intercontinental Hotel - a visit to the Spa is highly recommended!!

The Costa Calida region
The region of Murcia is situated on the Costa Calida (the warm coast) between Costa Blanca and Costa de Almeria. The coastline stretches 253km from Mohen Beach near Alicante, as far as La Caroline Beach near Almeria. The Costa Calida has 315 days of sunshine a year. Plenty to do and see, Beaches, Coves, Harbours, History and places of interest. Visit Cartagena, Murcia, Alicante as getting around in the region is easy by car as the area has a modern road network connecting all the major towns.
The Mar Menor Golf Resort area

Transfer from Murcia Airport (San Javier) or Car Hire from Murcia and Alicante Airports can be arranged on your behalf. Both Airports are served by Ryanair, Jet2 and Easyjet, all doing cheap flights. A Car is recommended to see the whole of the area, but if you are quite happy to relax within the complex playing golf, swimming, walking, etc. then is it not a necessity. Our villa is ideally situated within the resort.

Family-friendly :-) This villa was conviently located to all ammenities. Very quiet area. We hired a car which we found beneficial to us. Beautiful surroundings - great for photos. Choice of places to eat or relax with a drink. Also had the choice to use the hotel pool. Only 10-15 mins drive from the airport. Highly recommend :-) |

Villa Shanola is in the perfect location on Mar Menor Golf Resort, very close to the amenities on site. Our first visit here was in 2010 and we liked it so much we returned in May of this year!! What we like the most is the south facing garden with pool for the children and the feeling of comfort the villa provides ( home from home). The bedrooms are lovely and cool at night as there are ceiling fans in both bedrooms. I had lots of correspondence with Anne - Marie the owner prior to our holidays and nothing was too much trouble in fact I left a pair of earrings on the patio and the cleaner informed Anne- Marie and they kindly posted them out to me. I would highly recommend this villa and i'm sure we will return again soon. |
