About the home

The villa is in the Mar Menor Golf Resort with the on-site 18 hole golf course and three further Nicklaus designed Polarisworld courses close by, as well as easy access to the numerous other top quality golf courses a short distance away.
For the non-golf enthusiasts the villa offers quiet relaxation with the 7m x 5m private pool in enclosed garden, sun terrace and shaded patio with sun beds and recliners.
For those that prefer the seaside the beaches of the Costa Calida and Costa Blanca are a short distance away, the closest being 5mins. drive away.
The resort is also located near areas and cities of traditional, unspoilt Spain such as Murcia, Cartagena and Lorca amongst many others.

Further details indoors:
The front door of the villa opens up into a lounge area with two setees, one of which is a sofa bed.There is an L.C.D. T.V. with British satellite channels and a DVD player.
The lounge also has a dining area with table and 4 chairs.
The downstairs bathroom leads off from the lounge.
The fully equipped kitchen and Utility room are at the rear of the lounge with doors leading to the patio and garden.
The open staircase leads up to the three twin-bedded rooms, one en-suite, the family bathroom and the upstairs furnished solarium.
The villa has air conditioning in the lounge and in two of the bedrooms.

Further details outdoors:
There is a spacious upstairs Solarium with table and chairs and sun beds.
Leading from the lounge and kitchen there is a very large shaded patio with hardwood garden table and chairs enclosed by sliding glass doorswith vertical blinds.
Stepping down from the patio is the spacious fenced garden area with ample sunbathing space next to the 7m x 5m private swimming pool.
Bathroom towels are provided but you will need to supply your own beach towels.
There are further sun beds and recliners for use in the garden.
The quiet aspect of the villa makes it ideal for long relaxing days by the pool.
The back garden is fenced off at front and back for extra privacy and security.
There is a carport at the front of the villa.

The Costa Calida region

The Costa Calida takes in the calm waters of the Mar Menor and the resorts of the Mediterranian further south.
Just to the north of the Mar Menor there are the resorts of the southern Costa Blanca.
As well as the on-site restaurants there are restaurants and bars of all types in the immediate area around the resort.
The area is saturated with superb golf courses, including La Manga and the year long sunshine makes it a perfect spot for a golfing, a sun-worshipping or a more cultural holiday.
The area is more Spanish than other more developed Spanish resorts and the nearby cities of Murcia, Cartagena and Lorca are well worth visiting.

The Mar Menor Golf Resort / Polaris World nr Los Alcazares area

The Mar Menor Golf Resort is a five star complex with Hotel, social centre with communal pool, restaurants, bars,supermarket, tennis court, gymnasium, hairdresser, medical centre and, of course, the Jack Nicklaus designed golf course. It would be very easy to spend a full holiday without leaving the Resort but you would be missing what the region has to offer.
There are now two other 18 hole Polaris courses available in the area, at La Torre and El Valle with one more to come soon.
The local cities are well worth visiting at all times of the year and you would be hard pressed to visit the region when there wasn't a festival happening somewhere locally.
There are musical festivals at Los Alcazares, San Javier, La Union, Torre Pacheco, Murcia and Cartagena at various times during the year.
The prime time for parades and festivals is Easter week when every town and city have their own processions and celebrations.
There are also bird sanctuaries and National parks in the area, the Sierra d'Espuna is particularly impressive.
