Villa Roche is one of a group of Villas that are available to rent by the owner which are located within the Polaris World Golf Resort. (Ask to see details of others) Situated within a short walking distance of the clubhouse where you can try all the facilities available.it is only five minutes by car from the wonderful beaches of the Mar Menor where the shallow waters are ideal for children.The beach front is very "old fashioned" with old spanish properties full of character .The villa is well furnished and has the added benefit of a glazed in patio with ceiling fan and patio furniture and a roof top solarium with sun beds.The private swimming pool in the garden is fully fenced for safety of children. The villa is ideal for families or couples and you dont have to play golf! It has the luxury of satelite TV with all english channels.. There is a travel cot and pushchair in the villa at no extra charge. Highchair can be rented separately.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Murcia -the hidden treasure Murcia is one of the smaller regions of Spain and nowhere is more than about one and a half hours from Murcia Airport (San Javier) which is located on the coast of the Mar Menor. it now boasts two huge shopping centres along with Ikea and Primark! A 30 drive will take you to the La Manga strip where you will be able to dive into the waves of the mediteranian sea, the sand dunes and beaches stretch for some 12 miles.Here you will find the huge sunday market for your bargains. At the end of the strip is the Tomas Maestro harbour where you may see a famous face arrive on their luxury yacht!
COSTA CALIDA - "THE WARM COAST" The Costa Calida, by which name this section of coastline is known, boast the attraction of Europe’s largest saltwater lagoon, the Mar Menor, that abound with wildlife particularly at the Northern end of the lagoon which is home of thousands of flamingos during their Autumn migration. The Costa Calida area is also blessed with approximately 3.000 hours of sunshine a year.
Mar Menor Golf Resort / Polaris World nr Los Alcazares area
The Resort is set in an excellent location. The old town of Cartagena is only 10 minutes drive away,there you can sit by the harbour at one of the caffe style bars and watch the world go by. The town is now visited occassionally by the cruise liners as it is considered a popular historical location. Murcia city is about 45 minutes drive away and now boasts two huge shopping centres, Primark and Ikea of some of the many huge shops there. The local area is now said to be the golf region of spain with so many golf courses available for you to try. The newest being the municiple 18 hole course at Lomas Del Rame some five minutes by car away.. The beaches of Los Alcazares are safe and the waters are shallow ideal for young families. There are many fine restaurants and local spanish bars where you can try a varied assortment of Tapas. October 13th is Los Alcazares special day when there are huge groups of spanish and english folk enjoying the day with bar b ques on the beach.
How to get there
Travel: Murcia (MJB) is the closest airport and is less than 7 miles from the Resort taking less than 10 minutes by car, however the resort is not under any flight paths! Alicante is just under 1 hour’s drive away. Stanstead, Luton, Gatwick and many other Uk airports serve Murcia. Ryanair is one of the many cheap airlines. We would recommend that you hire a car to explore this unspoilt region.

Further details outdoors: Polaris World Mar Menor has now become an established centre for your ideal holiday. You dont have to leave the resort as there is a supermarket,restaurant and many facilities available to you. You can use your own private pool which is fully fenced for the safety of younger children and non swimmers or try the large communal pool with separate children's pool.. The bar has some evening entertainment and the restaurant is wonderful. There are extensive views of orange groves and far reaching mountain views from the rear. There are some wonderful areas to discover by car.

A private taxi transfer can be arranged . You will be met at the entrance by an english speaking representative who has lived in spain for seven years, she will take you to the villa and can be contacted during the time of your stay if you have any questions or problems. There are also three bedroom properties available for rent with or without a private swimming pool.(Enquire for details)
