Lovely, spacious air-conditioned apartment with South-facing balcony. Located on the Mar Menor golf resort just 12 minutes drive from San Javier (Murcia) airport. Quiet location with outdoor pool beside the apartment whch is visible from the balcony. Jack Nicklaus designed golf course in the resort with Club shop/restaurant and driving range. Intercontinental Hotel on-site with Restaurants and bar. "The Boulevard" restaurant and bar area is located at the resort entrance with Pizza and more traditional eateries along with other bars. The towns of Los Alcazares and Los Narejos are nearby with beaches and more dining options. Further afield are the cities of Cartagena (30 mins), Murcia (45 mins) and Alicante (1 hour).
No extra cleaning charges as these are included in the rental price.

The Costa Calida region
Located within the Costa Calida region, Mar Menor is a beautiful warm water lagoon connected to the Mediterranean by the scenic La Manga Strip. This region is the driest area of Spain, with over 315 days of sunshine per year.
This area of Spain is unspoilt by high rise tourism and Spanish culture is evident throughout the region.
For golf enthusiasts the Costa Calida region offers many golf courses.
Nearby is the historic Roman City of Cartagena which has its own tourist bus to show you around the sights.
The city of Murcia also has many fine buildings, including the Cathedral and various museums.

Light & airy spacious apartment with lovely views of golf course from balcony. Shared pool & surrounding grounds were extremely well kept and tended to. Quiet location within the complex but near enough to walk to bars & restaurants. Owner was lovely and very helpful and easy to contact. Would definately use again! |

Would recommend this apartment to both golfers and families. Lovely views from good size sunny balcony over golf course & swimming pools. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Very thoughtful touches in kitchen (dishwasher tablets and laundry powder etc) The owner Barry was easily contactable via email (phone too I would imagine). Lady that met us at gates and showed us to apartment was also very helpful and English so everything was explained to us clearly which is a great help. A car is needed if you want to explore the nearby towns and seaside. The apartment is within walking distance to the Irish bar & shop and a little further are the pubs and restaurants on the boulevard. Lift to apartment and underground parking. |
