The Costa Calida/Murcia region

With a well known warm climate as its main attraction Cost Calida is a unique area. With the largest salt water lagoon on your doorstep the Mar Menor or small sea is both shallow and calm - maintaining a warm temperature throughout the year. The beach is beautiful and 18klm's long with cafe bars dotted along. Also well known for water sports the Mar Menor features World and Wuropean championship water sport events.


Mar Menor Golf Resort / Polaris World nr Los Alcazares area

The Mar Menor Golf Resort is well featured on Channel 4 TV and is now more developed than ever before. With its own 9 hole championship course - you have to be renting or living to play or indeed staying in the new Hotel. The Hotel is run by Intercontinental, 5 Star and features a large pool, restaurants and bars. A social centre with communal pool and snack and evening bars as well as a hairdressers, gym, tennis court and supermarket, none of the Villas are far from these facilities. Murcia city is 30 mins away and is full of theatres, Cathedral and restaurants and bars. Cartagena is similarly close by 15 mins away and is also full with things to do as well as a newly designed port area.

Fly to Murcia (San Javier), 7 mins away from Resort or Alicante 1 hour. Most cheap airlines service Murcia, a growing airport
