The main extended terrace has contempory dining for upto 12 guests and a large all weather sofa with 2 chairs and coffee tables. Additionally there are luxury sun loungers for guests.All bedrooms have large terraces overlooking the stunning lake and golf course
There is a charcoal BBQ and all the terraces are beautifully lit. The communal pool is 10 steps away and visable from the terrace but there are many other pools scattered around the apartments for your use.
There are 2 outside showers located by the pool which is handy after a day at the beach.
We have also provided beach chairs and umbrellas for your use.

The Costa Calida region

The Mar Menor is a beautiful warm water lagoon connected to the Mediterranean by the fabulous La Manga Strip. Based within the Costa Calida, this region is the driest area of Spain, with over 315 days of sunshine per year and the lowest level of rainfall.
This corner of Spain is unspoilt by high rise tourism and the Spanish culture is evident throughout the region.
Beautiful award winning beaches can be found at Los Narejos and Los Alcazares on the Mar Menor,( 5 minutes away) with many beach bars dotted along this 5 km stretch, whilst additional beaches of the Mediterranean are only 15 minutes away.
Cabo de Palos is a picturesque fishing village which offers fabulous restaurants and an exceptional Sunday market.
Other activities include go-karting, sailing, jet skiing, canoeing, horse riding, boat trips to local islands and experience the outdoor mud bathing at Lo Pagan which can be found at the northern tip of the Mar Menor.
The resort is just ten minutes by car from Murcia airport with daily flights from the UK. The location of Mar Menor Golf Resort on the Costa Calida is superb for family and golf holidays. It is just minutes away from miles of safe sandy beaches of the warm Mar Menor waters. There are many local restaurants and shops in nearby Los Alcazares. The resort is close to two cities, Murcia the capital of the region and the port of Cartagena.
For golf enthusiasts the Costa Calida region offers many golf courses including the world famous La Manga Club, Roda, La Serena, Hacienda Del Alamo, La Finca, Altorreal, Mosa Trajectum, Las Ramblas, Villa Martin and Campoamor..
Cartagena : is a historic Roman City. It has a tourist boat that takes you all around the docks of Cartagena, describing a circular route that borders the Lighthouses of Curra and Navidad, the Algameca Chica and the Isle of Escombreras.
Tour the town in comfort. Step on board the tourist bus and visit the most important and interesting sites throughout the town. Step off at each stop and make the most of every visit including the Castle of La Concepcion and the Panoramic Lift

Murcia : has lots of cultural and tourists places of interest to visit. Murcia has many fine buildings, including the Cathedral which shows off their excellent architecture. Artistic and historic wealth is on display at the city´s museums, such as the Archaeological Museum, and the Fine Arts Museum.

The Mar Menor Golf Resort / Polaris World nr Los Alcazares area

The golf club house, first tee and driving range is a 5min walk from the apartment. The course provides a challenge for any golfer as it winds its way amongst the villas and apartments. There is a shuttle service to and from the neighbouring Polaris World golf courses collectable from the hotel. A handicap certificate is required to play all courses. There are as many as 18 golf courses in a 10 mile radius of the resort. The most popular nearby courses are at La Torre, La Hacienda del Alamo, El Valle, La Serena, Los Alcazares, Roda Beach, Mosa Trajectum, Torre Pacheco and the three courses at Club La Manga some 20 minutes away.

Mar Menor Golf resort has padel tennis courts situated near El Boulevard. Opening times are 8:00am to 8:00pm daily.

The Intercontinental 5 *Hotel, is based on the resort and 5 mins walk from the apartment– you can use the bars and restaurants plus the Spa – The pool is for use predominantly by the residents, however can be used by non- residents for a small charge.

You will find a small but very well equipped supermarket next to the social club. This stocks pretty much everything you would need including a great wine selection. Larger supermarkets are in Los Alcazares and Torre Pacheco

Next to the supermarket is a CAM bank cash machine if you need to get any euros. There are many banks in Los Alcazares and Torre Pacheco. The nearest Barclays is in San Pedro del Pinitar.

A new commercial centre called El Boulevard has opened offering a range of shops, restaurants and bars.

Most UK airports fly to Murcia (San Javier) Airport (MJV), which is 10 minutes from the resort. Alternatively you can fly to Alicante Airport, (ALC) which is 5o minutes from the resort.

“Lovely apartment with excellent amenities” The apartment is located on a large Polaris world complex. we were very impressed with the standard - especially the wonderful terrace , pool next to apt and high quality of the amenities provided within the apartment. The facilities on the complex are good-with decent variety of reasonably priced restaurants and bars ,a 5 star hotel & supermarket on site (& 18 hole golf course). The complex has been affected by recession as there seems to be lot of empty properties (though meant we had the pool lot of the time to ourselves :) however there is a good central community around the hotel with a few activities during the summer period. although little offsite to do ( couple of beaches close by.) if you are looking for somewhere where you can just chill out and relaxing quiet break then this offers good value for money and would be ideal for friends and families.

“Great apartment and facilities, fantastic location on resort = brilliant holiday!” This is the third time we have stayed at this apartment because it offers everything we want - a great location overlooking the golf course, a beautifully decorated and well appointed apartment which is within easy reach of the 5 star Intercontinental hotel and all its facilities. My husband is a reasonable golfer and he highly rates the course, whilst my daughter and I can relax by the communal pool just a few feet away from the apartment. All in all an apartment which delivers on every front!

“Fantastic relaxing holiday in lovely apartment” We didn't know the area at all but lots of information is provided so we soon found our way around. The apartment is well furnished with good facilities and, very importantly, everything was fresh and clean. We liked the amenities on the site, the shop, hotel, bar and mini tennis; and even spent some time in the swimming pool. We also enjoyed peaceful evening walks after dinner. We don't play golf but for those that do, it looked a nice course with part of it right in front of the apartment. As it is only 15 minutes from Murcia airport, it was good to start our holiday almost as soon as we landed ! We did a bit of sightseeing along the coast and liked the fact it was unspoilt by too much tourism, but there were some lovely beaches and restaurants. We really enjoyed our visit.
