How to get there
Getting to The Residence at Garden Village just couldn't be easier. The airport is just a 6 minute drive away (don't worry we do not experience aircraft noise). Taxis are very cheap at 13 euros one way and are always ready and waiting outside whatever time you arrive. If you arrive by boat, the main harbour is at the beginning of the main town of Zakynthos. Once again just a short drive - 8 minutes to Kalamaki. If you are self driving to The Residence at Garden Village email us beforehand for exact directions. We are somewhat hidden down a private road , which allows us to benefit from our quiet location, but be so close to all the resort amenities.
Getting around
Kalamaki is not a large resort and for this reason has just the right amount of tavernas and bars, for you to enjoy. It has a small waterpark within one of the larger hotels , offering a day pass for families in need of entertaining their youngsters. For walkers there are some great interesting walks nearby with breathtaking views. Car hire is reasonable and would be beneficial for those wanting to explore the island. We offer detailed maps and instructions to enable you to find with ease all the off the beaten track treasures. There is a local bus into Zakynthos town and taxis are quick, reasonable & accessible.
