How to get there
Three airports within 1 hour distance by car (Florence, Pisa and Bologna). The closest one is Florence, at 40 minute drive distance. Low cost flights to Pisa airport from all over Europe and a daily direct flight from N.Y. City by Delta Airlines. Many Ryanair connections to Bologna as well. The nearest highway exit is Pistoia (20 minutes from the property), located right between the renowned cities of Florence and Lucca (another 20 min. drive). It represents an ideal starting point for daily excursions to discover Tuscany and its jewels. The villa is also connected to Pistoia railway station with a bus every hour (bus stop 300m from the property). Trains to Florence and to Viareggio (beaches) depart from Pistoia station every 30 minutes.

Getting around
We recommend driving cars to fully enjoy the surrounding area. Anyway, taxis are available from and to Pistoia station and town center. The nearest railway station is that of Pracchia but we usually advise to take the train in Pistoia when visiting Florence. There are 3 trains every hour leading directly to Florence central station. There are very cheap parking places near Pistoia station.
