Follow signs for M74 Carlisle and exit at junction 6 signed posted for Hamilton. You will then come to a major round about (see cinema and holiday inn). Take the first exit at the roundabout and stay on the A723. Stay on the A723 past the Marks and Spencer on the right. Take the first left at the lights onto Quarry Street (A723). From here the journey to High Brownuir is about 10 mins. Go straight up Quarry Street (A723) which will lead onto Gateside St (still A723). Continue through roundabouts always taking second exits (going straight through roundabouts) until you come to Strathaven Road. Follow on Strathaven road (A723) for about 3.5 miles until you see a sign for Glassford and take the left after this sign
