How to get there
Pisa is the closest airport. Genoa, Parma, Florence, Milan are all also in easy reach.
Al Palazz is quickly accessible from the A15 motorway. It’s an easy 1.5km drive from Bagnone, one of the prettiest little towns in Tuscany.
There’s parking in the village square directly outside and also in our private car parking area 100m away.
The nearest stations are Villafranca-Bagnone (15mins), Aulla or Pontremoli (both 25 minutes) and a taxi can be booked. There are good rail links with the Cinque Terre, Florence, Parma, Genoa, and further afield. Many guests combine relaxing at Al Palazz with 'must-see' sightseeing in Tuscany and beyond.

Getting around
A small rental car is perfect for getting around the local area and visiting its charming hill towns and seaside villages. It's a quick and easy drive to the A15 motorway (under 25 minutes) if you want to travel further afield. There are good train services from nearby stations in Villafranca-Bagnone, Aulla and Pontremoli. A taxi service can be booked. It's possible to spend a relaxing week at Al Palazz and walk, swim, eat and shop locally (Bagnone is just 20 minutes down the hill); but most guests do prefer to have a car so that they can explore further afield.
