How to get there
By Train: Take the East Coast mainline from Edinburgh or London to Berwick-upon-Tweed, then hire a car from the excellent rental company East Coast Rentals in Berwick or take a taxi and Old Linthill is around 15 minutes drive from the station. Reston Station is a bit closer but there are fewer trains.
By plane: Old Linthill is around an hours drive from both Edinburgh and Newcastle airports, just off the A1 road which runs from both cities.

Getting around
We recommend having a car when staying at Old Linthill to make the most of your trip and to visit surrounding beauty spots and places of interest. However it is possible to walk to the town of Eyemouth from the property and a pavement runs from the end of the driveway to the town.
