Getting around

It is easy just to call a taxi - they are not expensive and we have several numbers and all the drivers on Bequia are friendly and swift to come. There is a dollar van from the top of Lower Bay road. And there is the option of hiring a jeep for your stay or just for a few days - around USD 50 a day. A beautiful walkway has been built following the water's edge, allowing you to walk from the Lower Bay headland over onto Princess Margaret Beach, past Jack's Bar and around the cliff edge along the ocean side which arrives at the Belmont walkway along the harbour front into Port Elizabeth, the main harbour town.
