Swallows Nest is a few minuets by car from the centre of Slaithwaite. If travelling by train the station is also a few minuets drive away. Taxis are available in the village.

Getting around
Swallows Nest is only a few minuets drive from the village centre. If venturing further afield we are less than 10 minuets from the M62. You can drive in the opposite direction and be in Derbyshire within 30 minuets. If you are coming by train the station is in the village and there are taxis available. Should you wish to walk the uphill walk is very scenic (much faster back down).
