Trains between Oslo and Bergen go 4-5 times daily. Often a good idea to book in advance to get a cheap deal, sometimes only kr.199 each way.
From the train station a taxi to my house costs apr.150 kroner, which is advisable if you have a lot of luggage. Can be walked in 20 minutes. 2,2 kilometres.
Bus service from Oslo is also excellent.
The apartment is a good base for staying and exploying the area surrounding, fjords and national parks.
Biking, horseriding, wild animal parks etc
You can walk into all tracks frim the residence.
