How to get there
Most major and budget airlines fly to Faro airport, Lisbon and Seville airports can also be used as there are excellent road links to the Algarve. Faro airport offers a good taxi link to Altura around 45 minutes drive, at a cost of 60-70 euros. Car hire can be arranged at the airport and there is also an excellent car hire company in Altura village.
