How to get there
Being just 90 minutes from Brisbane, two hours from the Gold Coast and a two hour drive from the Sunshine Cost, Toowoomba is an ideal holiday destination.
Accessing Toowoomba is easy by air, road, coach or even rail on the great Westlander train. The region is well connected via highways and road networks including the Cunningham, New England, Warrego, Leichhardt, DAguilar, Brisbane Valley and Gore Highways and the Great Inland Way and the Adventure Way.
Banksia Cottage is only a 20 minute drive from the Wellcamp Airport offering daily flights from many of the major cities within Australia.

Getting around
Public transport is extremely close by with a bus stop only a few metres from the cottage. We are only a 10-15 minute stroll to the city centre so getting around Toowoomba is a breeze.
